United (A) Post Match Thread

Seriously, ignoring the banter and piss taking for 5 minutes, why, oh why, is that useless wanker Pogba still
lauded as 'World class?'
If he is my cock's a kipper.

My Uncle on his Wedding Day whilst I was trying to get a champagne cork back into the bottle said “if you get that back in there my cock’s a kipper”, that was over 45 years ago and I’ve never heard anyone else say it. My Uncle is now 86, I’m guessing from your name you are an older fella and that was a saying from way back when?

That kids about 16 he probably just remembers them winning the title. Let them do 35 years without success like us, they will cry then.
You've got to feel sorry for the lad. He's taken half a day off school, still in his uniform,no time to change, to travel almost 200 miles north to see his beloved team get tonked by their Noisey Neighbours. His half and half scarf will be a lifetime reminder of the day he went to the swamp.

Always great to win a derby, even better when they set out their stall to barely attempt to play out of fear from the start. Says it all about them now, long may it continue.

Bernardo and Gundogan were immense I thought, ditto Ederson.

Great win, now onto Burnley. So close now.

I used to envy blues who were older than me who’d seen us go to old trafford and win Derby after Derby. Now I’ve seen it for myself; it’s brilliant.

For me, other than winning trophies, beating united at old trafford is a good as it gets, in terms of being a City fan. Love winning there. Love bossing them on the pitch on their manor. Used to hate it when they did that to us at Maine Road in the mid-90’s.

Loved tonight.

On to Burnley.

Totally disagree. I think he’s been generally pretty poor as an 8 and had most of his best games for us as a 6. Tonight was like a microcosm of his last 2 seasons for me.
Agree completely. I thinks he’s generally poor when played in the 8 position, especially the right side. He continually turns back. In the 6 he’s a different player and with the pitch ahead of him he drives forward.
The only times he’s ever looked comfortable further forward is when Silva played as a false 9 and it gave gundogan lots of room to ghost in the area.
