United (A) Post Match Thread

What a night! we are on top and both Rags and Dippers hurting.
They are hurting alright.

I travelled back on one of the buses laid on for the Utd fans.the conversations were spot on, but had a tint of irony to them.

One conversation discussed the fact it would be five years before they could realistically challenge. I agreed
It moved on to, “ there’s not even three players that are worthy to wear the shirt.”

And my favourite by three Irish lads. “It’s all about the money, money men at the top, but they’re not bothered because all the Asian and Far East are coming to the games”.

Then the irony. “ I set off at six to catch my flight....”

Apologies, this is my favourite. “Why are no youth players coming through. We have one of the best academies in the world. If not the best”

I’m actually torn, as to a favourite because Sanchez and wages was brought up. And that killed the whole bus.

Nervy first half with some terrible passing but apart from the odd attempt to find Rashford , were united watching the old Stoke videos (when they lumped it to Crouchie) class told in the second half as Merlin turned back the clock with a performance close to his 2012 level .And alt although father time slowly eats away at our leader Vinny was still imperilous last night Pep knows what Vinny gives and certainly whether on the pitch or a in the dressing room we will need him for the demands of the three remaining fixtures both Vocally and physically personally the Man of the match wasnt just one man however good the Silva(s) were. For me it was the 3,000 fans who sang ,taunted and made sure they were loud and proud all night The atmosphere since the 2nd leg against Spurs has been immense Please god we retain this title its very much ours to lose but the players will be assured the fans will be right behind them

I used to envy blues who were older than me who’d seen us go to old trafford and win Derby after Derby. Now I’ve seen it for myself; it’s brilliant.

For me, other than winning trophies, beating united at old trafford is a good as it gets, in terms of being a City fan. Love winning there. Love bossing them on the pitch on their manor. Used to hate it when they did that to us at Maine Road in the mid-90’s.

Loved tonight.

On to Burnley.
I'm genuinely very happy for you.
Wait by the side of the river long enough and the bodies of your enemies will come floating by.

Gary Neville tried his best to take Roy Keane"s hysterical outburst down a notch or two Gary "Ole will have 1 or 2 windows to put it right " FFS GARY they need more windows than Safestyle. but at least they can " BUY ONE AND GET ONE FREE" i will get my coat
