United (A) Post Match Thread

Stuck on a heaving post-match, Piccadilly-bound tram, surrounded by half n half scarves, accents from all around the world, and a violent United-supporting Buster Bloodvessel lookalike, who seemed to assume that I was also a violent United supporter.
Suddenly, the tram opened at St Peters Square, and Buster was confronted by a dozen Asian schoolkids, waving sky blue scarves, and chanting:
“Come on Citeh..Come on Citeh”

Funny as fuck, but I can't help feeling that after also witnessing half n half scarves in the City end, I've probably got more in common with Buster than anyone else. on the tram.

how good was the build up play for Sergio's shot against the post?

Almost the perfect goal with 4 first time passes in there, very similar to the goal he scored at Napoli

Right after we scored too. I thought that was going in and that we were gonna blitz them for 3 or 4.

Has silva played better this season in games where KDB hasn’t played? It’s a simple question, and if you’re honest the answer would be a resounding yes. I don’t understand why that pisses you off.
OK I'll have another go Silva from August through to December when he limped off against Chelsea was outstanding and yes KDB was injured. He hasn't been at that level since and you are trying to suggest that coincides with KDB returning hinting that they can't play together ignoring a whole season of evidence when they played week in week out together injury free and won the league by a landslide.

Vk must play again. The man is a beast
Vinny struggled in the 1st 30 mins then the game settled down IMO.

Your right though he will be playing Sunday against Wood & Barnes but not Leicester as to slow & Brighton if we need that win, with Stones back in for Leicester...

There’s no point arguing mate. We both support the same team, let’s just be happy at how the seasons going.

Fair play to them, they do produce a beautiful surface on which to play. Now, if Burnley don't serve up a dry, rutted surface on Sunday, I'll be very surprised.
Did some work at Turf Moor.
Their pitch guy used to work for Liverpool and keeps a tidy yard.
Dyche however, had him narrowing and widening the pitch depending on the upcoming opposition.
I think the PL rules, (and they do check this), give thresholds, i.e. not smaller than x, not bigger than y.
My guess would be that we're getting the smaller pitch on Dyche's orders.
Easier to defend those flanks.

This team know how to defend and get bodies in the way.
They aren't frightened of getting hit in the mush with that ball
