We weren’t outplayed at all, we just weren’t very good and that was good enough to get a point. That’s what is so disappointing.

We have a shit load of problems but the defence is not one. It’s the only positive I can find at the moment.

The forward players are just not at the races. Weird situation to what we have become accused to under Pep.

We have steadily improved parts of the team. The forward line needs overhauling but we can’t do anything until the summer.

No point making any more drama out of it. We need new players to fix the goal draught just like we fixed the defence.

This season might see us win a cup but in the league we have no chance.

There was only one team that was trying to win that game and that was City but we looked like a side who had a 35 year old in midfield. Sterling and Mahrez had bad games, and once again KDB just fell short as he does now in almost every game he plays.

We need to use Foden and Bernardo.

agree with the last sentence. Trouble is Kev is on another another level to most of our players. We’re too slow for him. Bayern Munich would be more his level.

I thought Stones, Walker and Rodri were very good. We do at least look solid. Incredibly laboured and insipid upfront though

Raheem had been conditioned for thee years at least to run onto through balls and cut back balls and score many 'easy' tap-ins. Or he would receive the ball in the box in the very corner on left side, always having two options of somebody running behind opposition defence and the other centrally in the box. And then Arteta left and something happened, we dont' play like that any more and he just turned into another Mahrez on the left trying very unsuccessfully to do one on ones throughout the games.

Or to cut it short, we just miss Merlin (even old-Nasri would be an excellent option).
