United (A) Post Match Thread

Pep should be embarrassed and ashamed of being out played by the managerial genius of OGS.
you know fuck all about football if you think united outplayed us, if fact, maybe its time for a new sport

had me, hook line and sinker.

I can only think you guys think that City only have to turn up at OT and win. Football is not like that. If they take zero risks the game turns into a grind. We know we are a bit short in midfield and Sterling and Mahrez were poor as they can be. They are inconsistent. Sterling is having a poor season. I put that down to games played.

give over it was a cowardly performance . Same as Lyon, scousers and this. Have you seen our position we will be out of the title race by xmas. We never tried to win.

negative team selection and negative non existent subs

only positive is we played for a draw and got one. Bobbins.

ok. We should have dropped a midfield anchor and thrown caution into the wind and pushed full on with a high press against a side playing at home with an extra man in midfield that is renowned for having one saving grace. The counter attack?

would rather be cowardly than an imbecile.

Rodri was arguably our worst player on the pitch. Fernandinho is in the twilight of his career, and he's still a more reliable number 6 than Rodri.

I always find it interesting that the defences of Rodri are diversions elsewhere. Says it all for me.

The truth is our midfield is dire atm, and Rodri's ineptitude is right front and centre in explaining it IMO.

You can't lose a prime Fernandinho and replace him with someone who isn't fit to lace his boots, and then lose David Silva and expect us to be the same side. Clear as day for me.

No point debating it if you actually believe your first line.

That's the acceptance phase I mentioned - just a lot sooner than I expected.
No, I know City are a little short of where we were offensively because Aguero is missing and KDB is struggling. However, every other team is struggling so I am still optimistic we can win the league.

We are not going to lose many games from here on in. I'll take that.

We just need a spark from someone. It could be Phil. It could be Torres. Maybe Messi. Potentially Serg. The boys look really short of confidence.

Oh fuck off Pep you shithouse. West Ham Southampton Leipzig Brighton palace all ripped their defence open
Just piss off you fool. You obviously know nothing about football. You can’t compare different games, it’s completely different tactics. Go and have a lie down. Next week you’ll be praising Pep!

I would have played Foden and Torres and had aguero on bench to come non

Why play him mid week and not today ?

bernado ??

United had fuck all to worry about today .

played for a draw and for one. Falling further behind

only one team wanted to win and sadly they never played in blue.

The fucking shite Neville and Keane spout! Why the fuck is it down to us to take the game to United??? They are the home side, their team has been assembled for a fortune, these clowns are talking like we scraped a draw away to Scunthorpe!
Because that was their game plan from the get go and they're pissed off we didn't fall for their little trick.

Feck em...

Firstly the most passionless derby of all time. Please Pep sign Danny ings in January. He'd score a hatful being direct and having a strikers instinct.
Secondly I don't think we'll win the league because we're not consistent but I think our tactics this season are more geared towards Europe. In the past we've lost on away goals. Now we seem more defensive savvy
Thank the Lord that somebody thinks like me. Danny Ings is just what this team needs at this moment in time.

Also.. people are forgetting not only did we get an away point in the derby but we kept Ollie in a job.

Today really wasn’t a bad day.. not a great day grated but certainly not bad.

Expect below explanation for all our games against teams in top half of the table :

PEP - "We know we can show more intensity but when you attack they can punish you on the counter..."
