Tbf, we were playing well 2nd half and dominating the game. Utd barely had a sniff until they were given a clearly offside goal.

Read on in the rules:

"Interferes with the movement of the opponent towards the ball, this is an offside offence if it impacts on the ability of the opponent to play or challenge for the ball"

He was shielding the ball thus impacting the ability of Akanji to play it.

Fucking cheats!

Akanji was yards away. If he'd made any effort to get there, it would have been offside

Forget the VAR controversy - this team is being outbattled almost every week now - slow tempo - wayward passing - not pressing - not creating chances - every team will go through a short period like that but this has gone on for weeks now and I don’t think it has anything to do with the world cup

They are not any different to Chelsea (other than officials being mostly on their side) and we nearly got a similar result as couple of matches ago in this game.
