And with the correct personnel around him i reckon Walker would be fine , he’s played in a back three for England, so let’s give Walker a bit of credit , Ric could be on to something here , so by all accounts if Stones isn’t fit we are looking at a back 4 of Rico,Walker,Laporte and Aki ? If fatty Shaw can play CB for United , then I’m sure Kyle can for City , it’s who’s infront of him that’s the key - now that’s a dilemma, who’s the middle three ? Has to be Rodri,Gundo and Kev , with a front three of Foden,Haaland and Bernardo ? Will Gundo play , or is it Bernardo in the middle three with an inform Mahrez in the front three ?i agree with you here i do think that was probably the crazy plan i dont think its to do with stones fitness i think it was pep trying to figure out where he thought rashford would play.
Let’s hope for another half time rush to Piccadilly that the self proclaimed most loyal fans in football did at our placeNeed to put these deformed little horrors back in their box and nail the lid shut. Even my lad calls Fernandez rat face ….I. Don’t think he’s heard it from me….;)
4-1 blue boys !!
i get his point about peps crazy plan lol... id do bernie midfield and my preference front 3 is haaland foden grealish. we havent played a front 5 of bernie kev grealish foden haaland since the last derby. but totally understand mahrez being in thereAnd with the correct personnel around him i reckon Walker would be fine , he’s played in a back three for England, so let’s give Walker a bit of credit , Ric could be on to something here , so by all accounts if Stones isn’t fit we are looking at a back 4 of Rico,Walker,Laporte and Aki ? With lewis it could work. Rico will play middle when we have the ball and the right cb often drops to rb to cover him. Walker is perfect for this. Only problem arises when walkers asked to bring it out.I think Guardiola’s “crazy plan” might have been to play Walker at centre half (to combat Rashford’s pace) and play Lewis at right back. After the first half at St Mary’s, I think he might’ve ditched that idea. Could be completely wrong of course, but makes me concerned about Stones’ fitness if he was considering that.

That is, score lots of goals and don't let any in.All i want is a normal simple formation and team. dont over complicate it. messing around with player playing out of positions ect just show some consistency now.
