We’ve lost twice in the League cup since Pep was appointed and both were against united. Hopefully no hat trick tomorrow.

The performance against Chelsea was very like the one at the swamp in the semi last year. Hopefully we can do it again tomorrow night. The performance against them last year was probably our best of the season but it was a bit of a one off, we never kicked on from it. Hopefully the Chelsea performance will set us up for the season.

TBF the two defeats were self inflicted , the first we lost 1-0 and Pep played several fringe players whilst the Rags desperate for a derby win went full strength , and the second we had the tie won at the Swamp , we "managed" a slender defeat to win the trophy , if its all to play for we have proved they are no match for us.

If they believe their hype and try to go toe to toe you should win comfortably.
