United and Liverpool EFL project - proposal rejected

Cue lots of stories on their charity work etc etc..........

There’s already some nauseating puff piece up on sky sports titled ‘10 years since the takeover that saved Liverpool’, busy blowing smoke up that crook Henry’s arse to reset the narrative.

Pre-written by Fenway’s PR team, and ready to press ‘send’ as soon as project big picture part 1 was predictably kicked out by the PL.

Media-washing?

I lose track of all this washing........

it’s the second proposal we have to watch out for;
A classic bargaining play. They “leak” a crazy proposal, one they know will get rejected. Then they head back to the drawing board and come back with a just as crazy but differently worded proposal that seems much better in contrast and people approve and give them credit for “listening”

I’d just hope the clubs would be completely against anything these two shit houses say in the future.
This. If a developer wants to build 150 houses on green belt land he submits an application for 450. He knows there will be uproar and after consultation with the council he lowers it to 275 and finally the council are shown to be the real winners and the voice of the people when they agree to 150 homes.

But if you were going to vote against your own plan, wouldn't you just withdraw it before the vote to save face ?

It was never proposed, so couldn't be withdrawn.

As it is, they can claim that it was working notes that were not intended to be a final version. No-one will believe them, but can't disprove it.

Is it not the case that rather than actually voting against their own proposal, the dirty 2 voted in agreement with the proposal put forward by the rest of the premier league which was opposed to the rag/dipper proposal???

So the vote was on working notes that even the two clubs putting forward didnt believe in what they were working on .....confused !!

I suspect more
"this piece of Parry droppings which is now public, does anyone think we need to waste time discussing it as it is?"

Basically, it wasn't a formal vote on anything, because there wasn't anything put forward to vote on.

I’d have been more surprised if they had voted in favor of it after everything that was said.

They must have well and truly seen their arse with this one, and forced into it.
But again, beware the re-submission, they’ve show their hand but they’re not going to stop now
