Because the MEN thought it was important enough to write a story about. Funny I never saw a similar story about Yaya Toure all the times he qualified for the ACON (including this time).Not sure why people are mentioning it. Genuinely happy. That's their only decent CB. A month is a lot. That's what sucks about AFCON
Let's wait and see how good he is. I recall many United fans were saying Darmian was the best right back in the Prem after 2-3 games at the start of last season. Oh and let's not forget Smalling was one of the 3 best CB's in world football only 12 months ago. As usual complete OTT reaction after beating relegation fodder.
