Sagna/Fernandinho/Clichy at RB..Anyone but Zabaleta..Iheanacho upfront..Kolarov/Otamendi at CB..Gundogan & Sane to come on later on. A clinical performance..A hard but comfortable 2-0 win.

I know it's the derby, but from what i've seen the rags have been poor. Against relegation fodder sides, too.
Put our best foot forward and i expect us to have too much for them.

Always usually have a niggling doubt approaching derby day , but i am surprisingly calm , because in Guardiola ,we have a pro-active coach who i believe can tactically adapt a team to most situations , a draw would'nt be the end of the world , but i think we need to nip this Rag optimism in the bud and take the 3 pts, they can then focus on their massive Thursday night game , against FC Cockwomble.

Assuming he'll start since he was granted a rest from England from BFS, I hope Luke Shaw plays so Raheem can start on the right and tear him a new one. At the very least it will certainly keep Shaw from getting forward. Also expect Mourinho to park the bus and cross the ball into Zlatan as much as possible.

Here's how I'd line up:

Bravo, Sagna, Stones, Kompany (Kolarov if Vinny isn't yet fit), Clichy, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Nolito, Iheanacho.

Think we could see Gundogan and Sane but unless they're killing it in training can't see Pep starting either of them in this one. Maybe next week.

Think we'll edge it 1-2

Isn't that the name they are entered under ? ;-)

Bobby manc had the fuckers by the throat , squeezing the life out of them, then pellers threw it all away, could have finished them forever. The seed of doubt had been sown deep in their minds, now the cunts believe again. gotta make sure this time when we get them down we keep them there.

I agree with above. In the past, the rags have gone into the Derby matches knowing not only that they were going to lose, but knowing that it had the potential to be embarrassing for them. It really showed in their performances, looking beaten from the first whistle, looking scared and timid in the tunnel etc. Then Pellegrini transformed us into a soft touch, receiving a battering ourselves, and now they go into the derbies actually expecting to win. It's fucking annoying. We had the edge over them psychologically and now we've got to try to get that back again from scratch.

This is total bollocks. Football doesn't work like that.

Agreed. It's this that annoys me as much as missing out on some trophies. After Years of waiting we had them under our heel. They knew we were better in every respect. They just hoped we wouldn't humiliate them. Time that normal service was resumed. Complete domination.

You have ruined my week with that one sentence
Sorry. Might be back in training at City, but I haven't seen any mention. If not, and taken together with his absence from the Chile squad, I'm wondering if whatever has kept him out of the Chile squad will keep him out of the Derby.

He was out of chile squad for personal reasons,i'm hoping that just meant moving to england, having said that he has not been on the training video's which is a little concerning

Kolarov didn't play either, think they've stayed behind per PEPs request?
