United "buying title"?

Jesus H Christ, who fucking thick are you lot. You only buy the title if your money comes from outside China and the Far East. Therefore, regardless of how many players they buy, they will never buy the title as all their money is earned, unlike us and Chelsea (oh, and Blackburn).

Close the thread right now you bitter twats..............

Again completely ignoring the inflation of transfer fees as United fans love to do since they were splashing out money in the 80s and 90s. Andy Cole, British transfer record at £7million. That'll get you half of Stephen Fletcher today. Also, put Rooney, Veron, and Ferdinand's transfers into an inflation calculator.

According to transfermarket we have spent net 475,200 Euro less than united over this and last season excluding Ronaldo Zaha

According to that inflation calculator thingy, the camel-gobbed one's fee is equivalent To £39 in today's money.

And that's not accounting for the rise in transfer fees in the last ten years.

Absolute steal at 39 quid.....

It's really sad seeing a young talented English lad going to Manure. First of all they're a shoe in for England and have pressure heaped upon them, then they turn into obnoxious horrible individuals, then ( recently ) ala Smalling & Jones they seem to rot. No one ever questions Bacon's acquisitions. He makes a shrewd signing once in about five transfers and never gets called on all the rubbish business he does! Wouldn't be at all suprised if when football is rid of the tumour that is Bacon face allegations of back handers and dodgy dealings come out!

Yeah, Rio's transfer fee (33 million pounds at the time within the agent fees) would today be something like 58-60 million euros. That's really fucked up.

Sorry to calculate it in euros. :D

Legit laughing at this headline, the rag media outdoing itself with hyperbole...
