Fucking brilliant result and very enjoyable second half. To be honest we played all the football over the 98 minutes but I thought the Doku/Alvarez sub was good but some of that movement and interplay between Foden and Alvarez for the second was excellent (little give and go).

Really pleased for Haaland…two marking him at all times but he still found a way to score.
Rodri and Bernardo were quiet but excellent too…

Anyway, onto the scouse vermin…what will they do I wonder…wouldn’t put it past klipperty to try the same as the rags….

That was a thing of beauty from Phil this afternoon.

I adore beating that cesspit of a club.

Well done City. I love the way Pep set the lads up for that second half. Total control, toying with the rags while conserving plenty of energy ready for the manic cult next week.

Takeaway from the game, kdb and haaland both had poor games and we were still miles ahead of him, they were lucky it was only 3-1 if haaland and kdb had fancied it then it would have been a massacre.

That was a very good 90 minutes. The Rashford goal was a freak. Great finish it has to be said but the hilarious thing is that it wasn’t the best goal of the game…
