This is not about the result today...take the performance out of context - forget it was a derby at home - that performance was one of a team which is finished....no drive, no graft, no creativity, no power or passion.....leaderless o on the pitch....the team has aged and the core of it is finished at the top level...

All that you mentioned above was great but its History - its in the past.

Yes Pep deserves slack....but there is no room for sentiment with players......KDB, Gundo, Walker, Grealish, Bernardo. - all need to be moved on this summer....Add Ake and Stones to that list as well as they are pointless as they are never fit long enough to contribute significantly

Just too many players not good enough now for various reasons. Some have been great servants but age catches up with us all. Some just terrible signings.

We need to replace:

Walker
Grealish
Gundo
KDB
Doku
Savinho
Nunes

The worry is based on our player acquisitions in the last two years I have zero faith that we will sign players of the right calibre to get us winning again.

Just got home. What an Absolute predictable shit show. Even upto 88 minutes we were woeful and played with zero enterprise.
Never ever under Pep have I seen a performance like the 2nd half.
Why wasn’t Stones in earlier (he was even stood ready to come in for an age)

One thing that puzzled me and the people around me was that united are the second worst team in the PL at defending corners yet they scored the equaliser when we pissed about at a corner.

Instead of launching the ball into the danger area we went short and moved the ball further and further back, then Nunes fucked up big time with that back pass.

There is no solution to this

The players are done.....big players are finished....been saying it since the start of the season....Yes we are missing rodri BUT there is a bigger set of problems...
KDB, Gundo are both finished...for me I would drop them both now and play kids in their place for the rest of the season....they are absolutely pointless and we are playing with two less players in midfield every week.....they have been exposed time and time again week in and out....not just today - a better team would have scored more against us today and taken the game to us from the off.
Grealish -Ive said from day one with him - he offers zero attack or defensively. - he is the biggest mistake our club have ever made post takeover.
Walker - everyone can see it - he is done....he has lost confidence and he knows it as well....and the other solution in rico is no bettter if not worse.

Stones and AKe are pointless at this point also as they cannot stay fit for more than a few weeks at a time...less with Stones.

The problems are huge and are way bigger than the game today - they have been there all season for everyone to see. ...no midfield and no fullbacks.....

A huge rebuild is needed in the summer and it is not going to happen over the winter period.

What's the saying, your only as good as your last game, well currently we're shite, in all my years I don't think I've seen a City team with as little fight, we go behind and we just collapse, a weak under belly, in the last few weeks we've threw away leads in various games, if we didn't have points on the board we'd be relegated, the squad rebuild is bigger than any of us expected.

thing is now Peps signed a two year deal he only has 3 transfer windows, two of those windows will be in January to rebuild a complete new side, can it be done in that short ti,me i dont think it can so then we get another manager who wants to do things his way and it all starts again, were in a dire mess and i think if we lose to villa pep will walk and thats if its not tomorrow

The thing is we have the absolute ability to play quick football. And good football. But the only logical assumption is we're told not too. And that falls firmly at the feet of the manager.

We're basing so much of our game on possession. The big problem at the moment is we're conceding it too often, and on many occasions under no pressure.
