Having watched a bit of the game back I think one of the biggest issues we currently have is that the team, whoever plays, has lost the ability to press as a unit. In the recent past we used to pressure teams as a unit. Today for example Erling goes to press their keeper yet Doku doesn't put the effort in and allows a simple pass out to relieve pressure. Same with Phil and Bernardo - one goes and the others hesitate then within 2 or 3 passes the opposition is breaking away.

Added to having defenders who cannot defend and the fact that in every game we seem to commit at least one major error and you have the reasons why we are where we are.

Pep has to be ruthless now - some of these player don't deserve to be in the team and as a fan I would rather see a couple of young players at least get a go - it cannot get any worse if he dos that. First action - forget the captain vote and you as manager appoint a new captain - Ruben has to be that guy.

2 or 3 times today we got into a promising position and he was nowhere to be seen .. and that's been happening a lot in other games recently

Maybe he's knackered which takes us back again to the piss poor planning and management in not getting another striker in

We must be the only club in the country that only has one fucking striker in the squad... we haven't even got an academy kid that's getting on the bench just in case

That is a worry for me.

The Academy is much trumpeted, but it only seems to produce the same type of player where are the wingers, the strikers, the attacking full backs or any full back.

There is a lot of truth in the old saying, you get nowhere by standing still.

I fear everyone has caught us up, we used to be revolutionary but now just doing the same as everyone else.

It’s not been a bad 2 months that’s an understatement it’s been a horrendous 2 months. We’ve won 1 in 11 and lost to not just average sides but poor sides. It’s not okay to keep saying but we’ve won the lot.
