Extreme physical and mental fatigue.. fucking cop out excuse

I amazed how many of our fans think you can be at the top of your game for over 5 seasons and not get to the point of physical and mental fatigue.

You can clearly see the players are knackered with physically and mentally. I think Pep is struggling to.

It's not over because of just over two months of bad results.

We've had a near decade of dominance. Don't lose your head because of a terrible two months.
Fair enough. But I have to say it just doesn't seem likely that he turns this around. Partly because he's got a huge job on his hands and he's human and getting older.

We've had an entirely predictable pattern of play for at least 3 seasons but we've been very good at overcoming attempts to thwart it.
Teams have progressively gotten better at playing against us and we haven't changed anywhere near enough. Combine that with key players reaching their twighlight years and not adequately replacing some valuable outgoing transfers and we are seeing the results speak for themselves.

1 win in 11 is not a blip.

1 win in 11 tells you that we aren't the team we thought we were. We are in decline. It happens. Our biggest danger is starting to think our next win will be the turning point to put us back on track and everything will be OK again.

It's rebuild time and we have to accept that as part of the cycle of football.

How well we rebuild may depend on the 115 outcome and of Pep's desire for wholesale changes with only a couple of years left on his contract.

For those claiming we dominated the game today, I thought we edged things until the penalty but on reflection we hardly created many chances and our lethargic attacking play was well countered by United who showed more energy in getting back to defend in numbers.

Walker's play acting was embarrassing but Hoijland walked 10 yards to put head to head with Walker so was no angel himself.

Shitting the bed every time we concede a goal is becoming a team habit. Pep is credited for getting inside players heads when things are going well, he has to take some of the criticism for failing to quell panic when things are not going well.

The amount of loose balls we are giving away is a factor too. We're handing possession to teams on a plate, and often it's in breaking positions. That's cost us a number of games already. I suspect it may continue to cost us further.

This isn't about loyalty as fans. It's about recognising what we are witnessing.

I remember being 2-0 down in 1999 at Wembley against Gillingham with 5 minutes to go, and if someone had said don't worry mate we will go on and break lots of records, win the domestic quadruple, do the treble and do 100 points I would have laughed at them but we have done it all, don't forget where we were and what we've done.
Reminiscing is nice, but time moves on.

Completely dismissing the credibility of the club executives/manager/players cuz of a bad few months is even more bollocks
Things tend to change in an instance though. So dismissing current and recent failings can be dangerous too - despite excellent previous results. That's how corporations can work or decline.

I take it you only started watching City in 2008? Stop the drama mate. You obviously weren’t at Lincoln away Bury at home then like the rest of us.
We and you have been spoilt the last 10-15 years with some of the best football best players and best coach in the PL.
Calm down.
I actually don’t understand why you think it relevant to what he says as to when he started watching City Anyway I started watching City in 1964 and I think he’s got a lot of good points
