Problem is the players who are repeatedly letting us down and making idiotic decisions and mistakes are the only fit ones we can field.
Playing with a small squad is biting Pep on the arse big time.
If I think of the young talent we have bred and let go DELIBERATELY it makes my blood boil. We are now left with far too many 30 somethings who have played and won so much they no longer have the appetite or the legs to keep challenging. It’s fucking obvious.
Big reboot needed.
Let’s hope Pep has the appetite for it himself but I am beginning to worry about that too.

He needs to be much more pragmatic about team selection and tactics. I think that's now 25 goals conceded in the last 11 games, which is fucking embarrassing, and completely unsustainable.

We've all known we've been shit at the back for weeks but nothing changes tactically. We still play this crazy high line and leave space outside, while getting no pressure on the ball.

I think a lot of them are absolutely knackered. They've done 4 titles in a row.

We know Pep's style requires a lot more work and concentration than other managers styles.

I just think they've out on their feet anyway and many can't get a rest because of injuries to others.

Then there is also the problem of our transfer dealings not being up to par.

Poor signings in last couple of windows (Gvardiol a side) - coupled with a few key players probably a season too far
A squad that is too small to put up to the demand of playing twice a week on top on injuries

Also blame a small amount of Klopps reign - Pep fixated on building a squad for control, he’s taken that to its extreme (it was the basis of our greatest ever season) and probably too far in that we simply have no alternative way to play

One thing I’m quite glad about is a week rest for them. Pep said they don’t have time on the training pitch to sort it, here’s your chance. A week to talk through it, analyse and kick out whoever isn’t up for the fight. A week of training and going over mistakes. It was like watching a fat cat swat at a fly today, embarrassing, but now is really the time that some strong words need to be had with certain players, players who aren’t even at that level anymore. Let’s hope we can change it and get back to
