That was the shittest derby I've ever seen, with the shittest ending - that one where Owen scored a late winner hurt, but this was worse, as it was at home and frankly, we had a bit of control at the time when Nunes inexplicably under hit his back-pass to Eddie in the 88th minute. Sadly, that can't be blamed on injury or anything to do with fitness/fatigue as he's been fine, physically, and not overworked. He's a player that the club invested £53M on and he's produced virtually fuck all. It was borderline criminal by our former standards. God knows what any of the youngsters on the bench must feel, knowing that they can't get a look in.
When the equaliser went in, I think we knew what was coming. Clown-car defending again as they squeezed in the winner, and £80M Gvardiol tried a fuckin' backheeled clearance - and missed it. Not sure how much blame is on him, but it looked comical.
At the end of a dire match, we got what we probably didn't deserve and so did they!
At least we've probably got another "City 1st" for the record books: the worst string of results - 1 win in 11 matches - without sacking the manager. I don't want Pep to go but, for Christ's sake, he can't keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Hopefully, we've hit rock bottom now. Losing the bragging rights to such a mediocre team - again. And what's worse, if he doesn't turn it round soon, the scum'll be above us come the New Year.
