Should jave easily cleared it , but fell.over his feet , calamitous defending
He was running at full pelt into the goal, there was no way he could have twisted his foot round to clear it at that pace. After he tried to back heel it, he went face first into the net. With his momentum any touch with the front of his feet would have bundled it into the goal.

Nailed on a Coventry fan for my money ;)

Jack Grealish is a busted flush at City, love him as a lad, but since the treble he has fallen off a cliff, how the fuck can a 100 million pound midfielder not get into that midfield, amongst a team devoid of options, energy, spark, and yet he is a 10 minute sub, it's a sad reflection on how he has managed his City career, KDB, Gundo and Bernie should be behind him on age and fitness and yet Pep cannot get him into the side, it's a complete mystery to me. We saw a flash of his ability against Forest, on the bench against Palace, crap against Juve, and back in the cycle of being a bit part player, nowhere near good enough.
Jack played more centrally against Forest and was involved inthe game much more.
I would play him as a 10 for a few games to build up his self esteem and confidence.

Not sure if already posted but saw this online with the caption ‘wishing our captain a speedy recovery’
Made me chuckle considering his embarrassing reaction. IMG_1454.jpeg

Do our subs make a difference ?
KDB was knackered so replacing him might should have added fresh legs. Gundo was also knackered but stayed on far too long. Doku wasn't making any inroads, though he did worry their defence. Grealish is suppose to keep the ball better so replacing Doku made some sense.

Where do you start with yesterday and what can you write that hasn't already been written over the last 215 pages. It was a dreadful derby, not one crunching tackle to let the opposition know what it meant. In all Pep's tenure here we don't get involved in that side of the game, it's admirable but oh for a Gerry Gow yesterday.

I look forward to the day we start playing football again with our players facing forwards. We move forward backwards so to speak with players constantly receiving the ball with their back to the opposition, getting pushed in the back and off balance.

I cannot believe we lost to them in the FA cup final with Ten Hag the clown, and now again when Amorim failed to beat Ipswich and Forest recently.

WTF?
Some of our fucking stupid fans thought losing the cup final was funny as it kept Ten Bob in a job. There weren't many laughing yesterday as we handed his successor three points.
