Capitulates and ghosting games we should be winning with our 2-team
One Major Injury to Rodri and the whole fucking back end of the coach and wheels all come off

It's not just Rodri and tbf any team would miss their best player; the best player in the world that is.

We've also had KDB out for nearly all of the season so far. He's clearly still not match fit.

We've also been without Foden, he's been injured or ill for the majority of it so far.

Many are also knackered after running themselves into the ground to achived the 4th title in a row, which has never been done before.

This was compounded by them hardly having a break between seasons and hardly no preseason.

They're knackered. And many can't be rested due to injuries to others.

We haven't had a settle back four all season. Stones and Ake can't stay fit. Dias is only just back from injury.

I just think many on here should see that context and give them a break rather than laying into them and calling them useless or worse.

Plenty are going overboard with their comments tonight.
Some of the reaction and comments on here tonight are shameful, shameless and regretably, what many predicted and feared would happen, when (inevitably) we hit a tricky spell.

We criticised and laughed at the rags for their petulant sense of entitlement and now some our own are behaving in the very same way.

Its disgusting, embarassing and unworthy and i wont enumerate the reasons why.

The only potential good to emerge will be, when hopefully, some of these short memoried turds fuck off from our club and leave it to proper fans who will stand by the club, coach and players through thin and thinner.

CTID !!

Big test for Pep. The game has moved on and just trying to recreate another version of this City will probably not work. Wenger tried that at Arsenal and he and they just went steadily downhill so it's certainly not easy for a 'great' to reinvent themselves and adapt their thinking to a blank sheet and start again. We will see.

Interestingly, Arsenal have three ex City players (Jesus, Sterling and Zinchenko) and all look to have regressed since leaving City. So maybe the way City play is just mentally and physically exhausting. Remember Rodri complaining about the number of games last year?

Maybe, as others have said, we need a much larger squad so that burn out is avoided. We have 16 players earning more than £100,000 a week with 9 earning more than £200,000 a week! Bournemouth, who could overtake us in the League tomorrow, have 1 player earning £150,000 and the rest less than £100,000! So maybe, now that we are pretty much established as a top team we could attract really good players on 'realistic' sustainable wages? For instance, Antonee Robinson, Fulhams left back is on £50,000! Brentford's Brian Mbeumo is on £50,000. Matheus Cunha of Wolves is on £50,000. Now of course they would expect more at City and transfer fees are needed but all tree are good enough to get into the City squad without paying elite level wages.

There’s currently no fear factor to playing us. We have no pace or power. No conviction about our play. We aren’t physical or hard working we are just literally there for the taking. Haaland’s effort and Foden’s effort were disgraceful today imho. Nunes and Doku arent good enough but I think they might actually be trying. As are Gundo and Kev but they’re just not able to do it anymore sadly. Bar Southampton I’d guess we’d be the team everyone in the league would pick to play. Everyone knows what we will do and keep doing even when it ain’t working. I was lucky enough to see us lift every trophy in the treble year in the flesh - I know we’ve had it good but right now the team lacks character. To draw would’ve been bad to lose today from where we were tells it’s own story. We’ve gone and I don’t think bar 5-6 new quality players it gets fixed. That ain’t happening soon so there’s more disappointment to come I fear. I’d enjoy it more though if we went for games differently and maybe saw a few starts for Wright McAtee and Oreilly. It would generate interest at least. I’m not interested in what we are currently serving up that’s for sure.

You Know what's Crazy.... We are so shit and 1 win in 11 games and still 5th and still in the Champions League and FA Cup.. I know still 5 points above United as well

Unforgiveable that.

The performance enough was abject but they were within touching distance of seeing it through. Then the manager farts about for 5 mins when Stones should've been on for Nunes to allow Gvardiol to go to the left to see out Uniteds sole threat which was coming from that flank against a guy who isn't a full-back - he isn't a decent midfielder either but that's another argument.

But the manager never makes the sub, the Mickey Mouse replacement full-back has a massive breakdown and balls up and our position is lost.

The 2nd goal doesn't happen if the right sub is made and the 1st doesn't happen.

Thought the performance garbage if we are being honest. Against a hugely poor United team without arguably its 2 best attacking players, we couldn't keep the ball, we couldn't create anything or make any headway and looked frightened to death.

Until wholesale changes are made to both the playing staff and the way we line up, I don't see us winning another Premier League game anytime soon.

However the club accounts look great apparently according to the news the club announced last week so it's all good. Maybe we can do an Arsenal and start doing laps of honour with our bank statement?

I think it's even harder to watch players like Haaland, Walker, Foden, KDB, struggling and Pep on the touchline like somebody in the park shouting at his dogs after letting them off the lead and they have done a runner
Watching Walker put in one poor performance after another and then getting to start the next game because “we have no other option” is really getting on my nerves. Surely we have good young full backs or right sided centre backs we can throw in at the deep-end to see if they can swim. Walker needs to be shown the exit door before he causes permanent damage.
