Rodri defensively excellent but miles off it on his passing, so that’s still to come. Nico G wasn’t great in adapting to pace of game when he came on.

Haaland, Foden, Doku, Josko, Khusanov, Nico and Dias all brilliant. Bernardo ran his feet off again.

Lots of empty seats after 70 minutes, most in the United section. Who would have thought! Oh the irony! Mind you they have a long trip home to Surrey this evening.

I hate derby day.

An odd performance, some really good moments. Some really poor play at times too.

Hopefully we can start finding some good consistency.

We really lacked rhythm and didn’t dominate possession and control like normal, but I think the players expected it, and they looked ti counter attack much faster, so I think the game went as Pep expected. Let them have more of the ball (they don’t do anything with it) and then one pass after winning the ball back and we were through on goal.

Very pleased with that. Foden, Doku, Big Erl, Khusa, Josko, GK all excellent. Special mention to Nico O'Reilly, shaky start but did very well, especially considering he had no support down his side of the pitch and no protection
Reijnders not good (again)
Rodri looks about 75% of capacity.
Odd 2nd half, we were bloody good on the break but they had so much of the ball.
The changes after the 3rd goal did not work.
Need more control in midfield.
