My general opinion on the day

Saw the team sheet was worried tbh
At half time I realised I was wrong 2 up could have been 5
Sterlings misses were shockers but he has been great this year and it’s not a shock as he isnt a natural.
They had no attempts on goal and touched the ball once in our penalty area we mullered them.
The first half was a lot better than some are giving credit for in fact for a derby game to win the title after the Liverpool game it was brilliant.
Pep gets nothing but utmost credit for his selection.

The second half we fell apart again after conceding
The ref was poor
Any earlier changes pep could have made being the right decision is guesswork

The league has been ours for a long time so the Liverpool game and the chance to seal it against them has made this defeat hard to take.

The double at worst this season is brilliant we shouldn’t forget that. Will we look back and regret today yes. It would have been the cherry on top of the cake. Don’t forget the cake itself tastes lovely.

I'm as pissed off as anybody with the result but perhaps "typical City" only lives on in the minds of us, the fans, not Pep and the players.

Think back to April 2013 - almost a perfect reverse of tonight, with Utd 15 points clear and cruising to the title. We won and closed the gap to 12 points with 7 games left. We enjoyed our victory and the rags were of course pissed off, but nobody seriously thought a Utd collapse was imminent, and when they eventually won the title it was in no way "stained".

Winning tonight would have been awesome but I honestly feel that winning it in two or three weeks will feel every bit as good.

Two games on the run we concede 3 goals, shocking defending.

Game should have been over in the first half the Scum were never in it and if Sterling was a genuine finisher we would have gone in at least 4 goals in front.

Second half they had to improve but we just dozed around instead of clearing the ball and allowed them back into the game. Free header for Pogba and our high line failing on a free kick and they can park the bus.

The obsession with the Chumps and it falling either side of the derby have soured this part of the season.

Don't expect a dramatic come back on Tuesday with our comic-cuts defending and then it is of to Spurs - BLISS

I cannot be bothered reading through all the comments but chin up people! Yes it would have been great today but we are going to win the league! What's wrong with you?

We have to appreciate like it or not, the Club see the bigger picture. Pep was employed to win the CL & is expected to deliver. He has spent a considerable amount of the Sheiks money trying to get us there & therefore Tuesday is his priority.

Whilst we are moaning about everyone else we need to take a good hard look at the atmosphere today - disgraceful & more akin to a funeral than a Derby.

What disappointed me was that if Pep was managing Barcelona he would have played his best xi if in the same scenario playing Real
He didn't realise what today meant and he doesn't get us as a club at all.
He got today badly badly wrong.

Bollocks.....at the end of the day fortunes have changed as it used to be us who could only win a derby for the bragging rights with united then still going on to then lift a title.
