Embarassing. David Silva and Kompany come out of that with credit, the rest should feel humiliated. Sterling was inexcusably bad. Aguero and De Bruyne definitely needed to come on sooner.

This isn't on Pep, but I feel deeply disappointed by his apparent indifference to this game. I want to look him in the eye and ask him what we were resting players for. The Liverpool game? That's over and he must surely know it.

I’ll always look back on this season and remember winning the league and cup but it’ll be tainted by this, Liverpool and Wigan. It should’ve been so so much better. I just think the players and the manager didn’t get how sweet it would’ve been to win this today.. once in a club history sort of sweet

Bottled it. We were coasting, missed a hatful of chances (not for the first time). Atkinson lost the plot at 2-3 but he didn't cost us the match, a fragile mentality and thinking we had done enough at half time did that.

He cost us the draw. Had we scored the nailed on penalty we should've had.
