United (H) Post Match Thread

On our 2nd goal is that not an elbow by Matic on Sane. If it is then it needs to be looked at for retrospective.

A that’s not the rule

B there is no such thing as a sterling simple tap in

Unless I’m wrong handball has to be intentional it’s a grey area the rule needs clarifying

I'd definitely change the rule that if it hits your hand in the penalty area it's a penalty. Who fucking doesn't love 8-6 games of football. I am not being sarcastic.

Another sad thing is we might now end up winning the title when we are not even playing. That always feels a bit anti-climactic.

Straight after the match finished i drove home in silence. We were great in the first half, but Utd played possibly the worst half of football I've seen in a very long time. They allowed us to look breathtakingly good.

2nd half they didn't start any better, but got a goal against the run of play, and we didn't react. They then got another straight after and our players went from feeling 100% confident that they were going to win to utter bemusement. Utd then took advantage of our confusion, played some mediocre football and scored a winning goal.

We failed to raise our game when needed, and we were punished for not keeping our high standards again, which is worrying as it seems that when we don't play at our best we fall apart and become very very easy to not just create chances against, but to score against.

I still think we can do it on Tuesday, as when we play at our best we are that good. But I'm just not sure which City is going to turn up.

We've still won the league, bar something unbelievable happening. No need for panic.

Am I out on my own saying we're better with Stones in the back 4 regardless of his occasionally brainfarts?! I think I know what kind of abuse is coming.
It’d be worth a try!! We can’t go into the game like we have in the last 2 games

I think Guardiola would want our back 4 to be Stones, Laporte, Walker and Mendy. We'll be better next season.

Still not happy about not starting KdB and a forward.

There's a mentality issue with this team and there's also a lack of killers. United were much more clinical and we continually miss massive chances.

Peps got this week badly wrong and he should take a portion of the blame. The players have shithoused it too.

Another game ( trophy) sacrificed at the alter of the champions league , I make that 9 100% nailed on pens not given this season & some say it's not bent , do me a favour
