United (H) Post Match Thread

I asked twice and googled it but couldn't find a yes to the question:

Did Pep ever drop some of his best players at Barca against Madrid?

Total cock up by Guardiola. Sterling is a headless chicken...no composure...one of the worst finishers ever. How he merits a place in the team is beyond me. We would have been 5 up at half time if he had been on the bench. Sooner he goes the better. We will get stuffed by Spurs and then anything is possible. How this game could be considerer secondary to chasing a lost cause on tuesday defies comprehension. Would not be surprised if the s**te win the league with a game in hand.

As usual a distinct lack of bottle. All goes to shit as soon as anyone dares to have a go.
Also priorities wrong. Lose on Tuesday, as is very likely, and this looks a stupid decision.
Lose to Spuds as well and this becomes a crisis.
Am fuming at the moment
Am also fuming but it doesn't become a crisis if we lose at Spuds. It becomes a crisis if we don't get back to our best against struggling sides such as Swansea, Wet Spam, Brighton, Huddersfield and Southampton.
Atkinson is a blind (or bent) ****, Sterling should have killed the game and you've got to question Pep for not making substitutions as soon as the bastards equalised.
Prioritising Tuesday from a goal or two behind might be acceptable. Prioritising it from three goals down is utter stupidity.
But if you don't take your chances, and the defence turns to rat-shit as soon as one goes in (today and twice at Klanfield) then it's easy to lose points or cup-ties.
We'll still win the league but winning it today would have been so much sweeter.

The same understrength side that bossed the first 45 and should have been 5 or 6 up at half time ?
But we didn’t win it.. that’s like arguing that a pub team are world beaters cos they had a good 5 minutes. They were under strength and didn’t close the deal

As soon as there's pressure on us to put in a performance that means something we flop. Wigan - useless. Liverpool - useless. ManUre - useless. Winning games when pressure is not on means is easy. Mentally these guys are questionable at times. I can see us losing to Liverpool again and Spurs away? On this form - forget it. I'm fucking fuming. Tomorrow I may have calmed down but right now I want to slap the lot of them. Harsh I know and it'll be the beer talking but this last week has been so hard to take and just shows Pep still doesn't learn from his past mistakes.

Last season I was definitely guilty of being too negative which I've thought a lot about, want to keep this constructive.
This week has been an embarrassment and will always be associated with our legacy of this season. There was the chance to end it with the style and finesse that we've shown for the vast majority of the time we've played, we've majorly misrepresented ourselves when it mattered most. As a group of extremely talented professionals they should feel shame for what's happened.
Wednesday was easier to take as it was an abysmal 30 mins then we got our heads straight and tried, but we're clearly affected and intimidated with the situation. Today was a capitulation, you can't play that way 1st half and lose, never. Wtf did I just watch?
Fuck. Sake.

A few hundred million worldwide audience see us humbled by Liverpool ,and another debacle in front of or another massive worldwide audience.. How's that for building the Brand Pep. When we stagger across the finish line of this Title as inevitably we will the glory for the Name we could have acquired has been flushed down the pan.

I love debacles when we are 13 points clear. Puts the word debacles into perspective.

This team has bottled it. Poor decisions from the ref only account for so much. We bottled it Wed(mitigating circumstances I agree) and we done it in that 2nd half. The players had the chance to make history and fucked it. To be 2 up and throw that away is fucking criminal. Weak mentality has reared its head and it stinks. The title will make up for it but that was shite.

played united 5 times and has done that twice, granted this one was much bigger but as much as he is a great manager I get the feeling he just doesn't care what supporters want(not that that's always a bad thing!)
This is partly true.. lots of us wanted joe hart back and pep was spot on getting ederson
