(Wakes up.) “Ahh ... it was all a terrible dream”. (Bangs head on desk.) No, we’re stuck with it!”
You sound like a rag mate as do most of your posts.
There you go. 1 a piece.
Correct, all season its been "one game at a time", until this last week, when its suddenly all been about 1 competition, one that we won't win anyway, because this team isn't good enough yet.No one person to blame unless like me you wonder after arguably our best performance at Goodison PEP decided to change it. at Anfield and again yesterday When he lost credibility he went against his own mantra to take one game at a time, and it cost us heavily
Sticking up for your nearest rivals is just plain weird. You mocking me for laughing at utd is the most rag thing going.I’m called a rag because I’m realistic and not stupidly biased because I’m a blue, most can’t handle it despite on many occasions I’m proved to be right. Laughing at a team winning a derby being 2-0 down at half time is just plain weird.
We can do it on Tues. If we avoid letting in an early goal, any total is possible in 90 mins at the other end.
Tbf if it was us spoiling their party I think our players would of done the same. There's been so much talk for months how it could come down to this game. And the ****s did us. We'll still be having the last laugh.I'm still laughing at utd going to their fans and punching the air and dancing and dabbing the night away at full time.
How the mighty have fallen.
Exactly mate. The last line sums everything up.Tbf if it was us spoiling their party I think our players would of done the same. There's been so much talk for months how it could come down to this game. And the ****s did us. We'll still be having the last laugh.
I couldn’t give to fucks about them mate,I actually wasn’t even as nervous for this game as previous ones probably the 16 point gap (13 now obviously)but it’s the capitulation in the second half that has me fuming and how we seem to concede a goal then another within a min or two,we seem to have a soft centre at times in big games, needs addressing for next season but it’s only one game bar a complete disaster we will be champions ..We're dead on our feet after 45mins and we switch off for 15-20mins and seem to concede these mad flurry of goals. It's been a tough season and we've been sublime and outstanding for all of it bar 3 or 4 games.
Them lot are irrelevant and yesterday was irrelevant.
When we get our name etched on the premier league trophy it isn't going to say 'man city champions 2017-18 but utd beat us, it will say 'man city champions 2017-18'.
We need to get rid of the obsession with them lot.

Bar a complete disaster?I couldn’t give to fucks about them mate,I actually wasn’t even as nervous for this game as previous ones probably the 16 point gap (13 now obviously)but it’s the capitulation in the second half that has me fuming and how we seem to concede a goal then another within a min or two,we seem to have a soft centre at times in big games, needs addressing for next season but it’s only one game bar a complete disaster we will be champions ..
Hahahahaha typical city was alive and kicking yesterday evening,it’s not over till that fat lady sings ;-)Bar a complete disaster?
You don't think we'll do a Devon loch do you?
Speculative though isn't it?Yes ... ish. But with a striker we’d have been out of site.game won. League won. Neighbours humiliated. And the ultimate result meant he wasnt vindicated
Bet he's not wearing it the day we win the league.Twat next door was out washing his car earlier wearing his rag top. Seen him wear it once in the last 8 years.
We have an attack of champions and a defence of relegation fodder. In spite of it not saying that statistically it is true. Teams have been terrified to attack us for fear of what will happen at the other end but as Liverpool and the rags found out if you do we crack and alarmingly easily.
Of course they gamble doing it. The rags had nothing to lose yesterday. At 0-2 down and being embarrassed for their pride they had to respond. They were buoyed that at 0-2 they were still in the game when in reality it could have been 5 or 6. I think in the second half mental and physical fatigue hit us. Like a marathon runner hitting the wall so did we.
My fear is we must be mentally and physically drained after last night. If we had won given the high we would have carried into Tuesday I would have felt more confident. Now the opposite is true. Like yesterday I have no doubt we will give it a good go up front but our Achilles heel at the back is always waiting to deflate us.
No one has said anything about getting rid of Pep. His decisions against Liverpool and the rags yesterday are being scrutinised that is all.
It is small time mate. When we won there in 2013 the celebrating at the end was hollow as we'd only won a match against them lot, it didn't stop them winning the league but we have always played second fiddle to them lot. They can’t be our rivals and irrelevant at the same time, make your mind up. Pretend not to care about yesterday, if that’s how you get through it then that’s fine. How dare they fist pump and celebrate though, proper small time init.
Bar a complete disaster?

Its easy to assume we won't, but we've collapsed twice in 4 days. Lose on Tuesday night, and we will head to Spurs away with 3 defeats on the bounce, that is horrible form, and there is no getting away from it, and lose that while United play West Brom at home, and things will look quite different. Luckily we follow with Swansea and West Ham, so it should be enough.Bar a complete disaster?
