United (H) Post Match Thread

If they don't understand what he wants they don't play. - the players say it's complicated but becomes second nature. Tactically, we're ultra disciplined, and this season he's reinvented us. All down to the fact that for the first time ever he can choose two from three CBs most weeks. Pep's CBs have to be better than your more typical top CBs. To play CB for Pep, you have to actively draw opposing strikers and midfielders towards you and have the bottle and skill to go past them with the ball and in doing so pull their formation out of shape.

There's nothing embarrassing about showing emotion, especially after losing a derby against a team we know we are better than, but seem to have a tendancy to shoot ourselves in the foot when we play them.

We could have just won the quadruple then in the last game of the season play the rags in some rearranged nothing at stake game, lose and all hell would break loose. Us older long standing Blues hate them with good reason and that's just the way it is

I get all the "In the greater scheme of things it doesn't matter if we win the league, cups etcetera" posts but yes it does. Blues on here still go on about not sealing the title against them when 2-0 up at half time. That's six trophies later and a centurion season under our belts but it still pisses people off and so it should, we wouldn't be Blues if a derby defeat didn't hurt like fuck. Pep and the players can distance themselves and be professional and that's fine but we're fan's and for us it is our hearts and emotion that lead the way.

The match day thread again is just nerves fraying and emotion. We're not at the game so the player's can't hear it. Yes it goes over the top at times, people are screaming a player is shit and the next minute he scores but it is what it is. At the game we'd swallow our disappointment and get behind the players even more to urge them on. We can't do that now so the frustration comes out in rants. If we were doing it at games I'd feel ashamed yes but we're not so no I certainly don't. The day I stop ranting, celebrating, being pissed off and ecstatic all in one ninety minutes is the day I stop breathing. City till I die.

I love that mate, a proper blue, emotions are everything in football. Take them away and it becomes shit (VAR) but slating Pep and some of our world class players is embarrassing.

Now the dust has settled, do the real blues who post regularly on here think that some of the posts have been acceptable? If they have been posted by blag fans or wum merchants then that's another thing, if not it's just plain wrong. If you have spat your dummy out because we have lost one game in 29 and you're a real blue hang your head in shame. If not then why are these imposters allowed to be embarrassing the club with the Utter shit they've been allowed to post. This could end up being the greatest season in our history and we are sounding like a bunch of pathetic entitled twats. I know this is a forum for discussion but some of the slagging off for our manager and greatest ever players has been staggering.
An element of our fanbase are overly obsessed with Man United still. Combine that with the fact that a high number of people on football forums get too emotive and don’t know that much about it and that’s what you get. It will be forgotten about by the weekend.

Nobody at the club is embarrassed. They laugh at forums.

I know mate but as a long standing blue like yourself, I think some off the shit that's been posted on here in the last few days is unacceptable..

I wasn't aware that there was much of that going on
