United (H) Post Match Thread

Sterling being selected is baffling.
How you can go from winning 21 on the row, demolishing teams, then play like this. It's fucking bizarre.

Never take anything for granted in football. Just look at Liverpool. Not lost a home game for years, then lose six on the spin. Weird shit happens, losing to United is one of them weird things that keeps happening.

Fair to Utd as they totally deserve the win. Not good enough today and it’s about time Jesus went and also sterling needs dropping and not being given the h Ed captains armband .Utd won there cup final. But come end of season that counts for nothing . Foden needs to start next game

the more I see the Jesus penalty fuck up, wtf he was doing their and why he felt the need to do what he did?
understand if the attacker is clear on goal, but we had 2-3 other guys on goal side ready to block.

Called the 0-0 in Dec an embarrasmemt, this is nearly as close.

The pen shook us and we never recovered for a long while.

However that defeat is all on Pep and choosing to return to the pedestrian line up that was awful throughout november.

Dropping berny for a derby, a game he excells was fucking stupid, especially as Kev isn't match fit, as for sterling and mahrez, poor in last few derbys and wee again today.

Dissapointed

Fucking embarrassing. We keep on losing to this sack of shite no matter how bad they are. It’s mad that Sterling and De Bruyne got a single minute on the pitch, nevermind 90

Some of the arrogance from us on this site over the last few weeks building up to this game has been really poor to see. I think some people are a bit deluded at times.

They were the better team today and really if Martial had scored that chance to make it 0-3 we wouldn’t have been able to have any complaints about a 0-3 score line at home to these cunts being flattering.

We were disgraceful from 0-95!

Cancelo
Rodri
de Bruyne
Mahrez defensively (wasn’t too bad offensively, but still didn’t really do owt)
Sterling
Jesus
...were all fucking appalling!

So was Pep.

Foden did more in 15 minutes today than Sterling has in 23 games against United. Foden gave Wan Bissaka a torrid time in the EFL Cup semi, Sterling hasn’t given Wan Bissaka a torrid time for a single second in any game Ive seen.

Bernardo has been our best player in the last 6 weeks and he didn’t get a minute on the pitch!

I’m sick to death of losing to these cunts at home, sick to fucking death of it!

Hang your heads in shame City. Will take me until the next time we play to get over this!
It'll take me till we win the league.

A lot of really poor performances but how KDB stayed on the pitch is the biggest mystery.
Shouldn’t have started, but has been diabolical. Worst I’ve ever seen by him.
Pep bottled it against The Rags again.
Foden and Bernardo?
Everyone here knew it was what was needed, why not Pep?

And we need a proven goal scorer.
This game in itself isn’t the end of the world, but it showed up our failings that will cost us ultimately in Europe.

Ah well. Let’s move on.

Give the manager credit as he gets it right 99% of the time. Today he didn’t and it happens too often against these bastards. Keeping Sterling on today was a shocking decision and not featuring Bernardo who is back to his best is equally poor.
Hope he reflects today and respects this fixture and what it means to us

We missed too many clear chances to deserve anything irrespective of the Sterling penalty shout.
Still would got something out of the game regardless of performance and neither Mbappe or Haaland wouldn't of made much of difference. PGMOL knew what they were doing in this game

Fed up of post matches like this on days when we should be celebrating the most.

At least in the Keegan and Mancini eras you felt like the team gave a shit on Derby day.

Pep doesn't even show the slightest hint of trying to adapt to the fact that Ole has a masterplan on him at our place which works every time.

He wouldn't show such ambivalence and lack of thought to El Clasico so why's he allowed to show such a lack of respect to our derby?

Stunk the joint out again when it matters as did the same old faces who cannot be trusted no matter how many nice moments they use to pad their stats out against mid-table fodder.

This team still has no bollocks for a real fight.

All winning runs have to come to an end, shame it was against this bunch. That game should make it clear that Foden and Bernardo should be in our best starting 11, will be important for the CL knockout games. Walker also good when he came on.

Sad to say but could have predicted we'd struggle with that line-up. Walker, Bernardo and Foden should have started this game. It really made it much easier for them than it should have been. No real pressing, no legs in midfield.

I hope Guardiola realises that he should not be shoehorning KDB into the team. That midfield 3 just doesn't work very well for these types of games. Bernardo, Rodri and Gundogan should be our central midfield 3. Walker should play against teams that have pace on the counter.

Bad team selection, bad result. I hope we learn from it and don't try and persist with something that could end up wrecking our season.

We can't really have any complaints. The rags deserved their win.

Terrible start but played quite well 1st half after the first 10 mins. Absolute dogshit second half.

A few players well off the pace today.

Not as arsed as usual after a derby defeat. Pep should be embarrassed that he kepts getting out thought by the clueless rag manager in the derby though.
