I agree they made a decent fist of it for a while but we were too good for them. Once the third goal went in they knew it was done, they were knackered. The only time they saw the ball after that was when we gifted it to them. I have no idea why it's always got to be failings in the other side, not that we totally outclassed them.

I think the media lovies were genuinely angry with the rags for spoiling their pre-written dipper title race headlines. Personally I won't feel like the title is in the bag until we start hearing about ffp and oil money.

Just watching the match back now on sky. Three observations:

1. Sancho not celebrating his goal. Respect? Or worried that by equalising he’d just succeeded in poking the bear?

2. Lingard and Rashford simply didn’t want to come on. Their body langauage on the touch line was shocking.

3. We love to see it.

It was noticeable that Lingard wasn’t trying at all.

I’ve mentioned it before on here but I had the misfortune to have to stand next to him at a salford v Oldham match. He latched onto me for the full game. He’s not a full shilling, definitely something not right with him

Agreed. Ederson is so composed and intelligent with his passing in those situations, it really is like having another outfield player.

Not only did Grealish play well going forward, but he worked hard and made a couple of crucial challenges in defensive positions. I agree, he'll be a great player for us.

Ederson is the most nonchalant passer of a ball I have ever seen and he's our keeper.
