Best first half I’ve ever seen from us. Attacking football at the very highest level.

Second half we were average at best and I think Pep was happy to rest players at the expense of conceding a few consolation goals.

Can't help but feel a little fucked off we gifted them 2 easy goals to cover up the fact they got absolutely violated for 90% of the match

Yeah but everybody knows they only scored goals because we completely relaxed because it was so easy

so in at way it’s still humiliating that we had to basically stop playing for them to have any chance of matching us in any way

No, it works opposite. Gives them a false sense of achievement, but basically, we were at 75% in the 2nd half.
If we stayed at 100% it would have been 8 or 9 :)

Pissed all over them. Forget the game post 4 subs. They were battered.

That’s true.
And we’ve complained in the past that Pep doesn’t use subs.
Some inexperience shown by Alvarez and Gomez and sloppiness from a couple that ought to know better. But really even with them being gifted a couple of goals I think it is great to have that luxury in a derby, to test the squad and add to the experience.

It’s a long season and lessons will be learned in a derby as easy as they come.
