Lost a few big games at home this season take a draw seeing derbies unpredictable.

I must know some reasonable ones then.. They still thought it would be tough even with Kompany and maybe Otter out.

Boring 0-0 repeat of the game at theirs I think.

or how many red-cards we get, how many penalties they get, how much influence the Officials have etc etc. Just hope we lift ourselves and put in a decent performance but fear the worst come Sunday tea-time.

Last few derbies haven't they had most red cards? Can think of Scholes, Smalling and Evans off the top of my head...

Spoke to 5 rags today. All say they going to dick us in the derby. With VK out martial and rashford will slaughter us apparently.
All I said was, with our injurys and home form, you prob right. Hoping we smash em, but anybody confident?

Last time I posted in the derby pre match thread we won 4-1. Hope history repeats. And I want us to be in their face from first to last whistle. Navas to start for me and Sterling in for Fernando and just attack the rag twats , wave after wave. Could do with their first cup final going to pens on Thursday and then hopefully they'll be washed out for their 2nd cup final against us. C'mon you blue bastards fuckin wipe the floor with them.

I'd probably go with that. Although I might be tempted to stick Sterling behind/up alongside Aguero - we have to try and find a way of getting bodies closer to him much more quickly than we have done in the past few games. Might also give Silva an extra option ahead of the ball.

With that line up Sterling or Silva can do the same job either left or central, not a bad option to have.

First time in years I've not been confident about walking away with 3 points. Heart as always says we'll turn up and twat them 3 nil (2 wasn't enough at half time in one of the first derby matches I remember in the early nineties!), head says we'll make hard work out of a point. Given some performances recently, it's natural to think that but still, it's derby day. What's annoying is that they are where they are anyway, there should be much more distance between us in the table. Jammy rag cunts.
