Need 3 points to stay in hunt for league ;)
Not given up on the treble yet, no matter how unlikely.

All rags I've spoken to, all say martial and rashford will rinse us because VK is out and our defence is league 2 quality lol.
Hoping for a win, but our home form has been wank.
All rags are born ignorant cunts.
Tell them kun and sterling will do the same at their end.

Kompany's sub seemed like a rush job but I assumed in the case of Otamendi that the sub was prepared but I wasn't watching the bench closely tbh.

The first movement on both substitutions seemed to be the sub taking off his trackie jumping up and down and that was his warm up.

I remember Dzeko being injured a couple of minutes after coming on as an inadequately warmed up sub.

Strange if that was the case with Otamendi, seeing as he was obviously struggling. More stuff for Pep to sort out perhaps.

Despite the Kompany blow i don't think defence is our biggest worry. We look abysmal going forward, we create absolutely nothing and can't control a game. We only score if somebody comes up with something special from nothing and with no movement for Silva to work with, KDB out and Sterling seemingly terrified to lose the ball, right now there's only 2 players in the squad capable of coming up with something in Yaya and Aguero. United will play 3 in midfield, crowd Yaya out of the game like they did at the swamp and cut off any supply line to Aguero with relative ease i fear. I would take a 0-0 now in all honesty and rely on them being just as bad as us for the rest of the season so that we can stay in 4th place.

With that line up Sterling or Silva can do the same job either left or central, not a bad option to have.
Yeah, I agree. Depending on how its going, we could also play Yaya, Fernando and Fernandinho as a three man midfield (a la Sevilla), with Silva in front and both Sterling and Aguero up top.
As you say, always good to have such options. Hopefully, they might stop us being quite so predictable in our patterns of play.

Anyone else think the Colin Bell tribute/award they did before the match yesterday would have been better before the Derby to get the crowd up for it a bit.
