Ok on reflection I am willing to give Pelle the benefit of the doubt, maybe he is thinking like us that the defence is shaky but rather than opting for the cautious approach he is saying fuck it we will just outscore them.

The rag twats are not generally known for their adventurous attacking football and so why adapt our game just to suit them,

Maybe our best form of defence is attack.
Maybe he is looking to go all guns blazing in his final derby.

Maybe I need to slow down with these pints.

Think he's got the best back 4 he could have picked. Sagne over Zaba is sadly correct and it's no game to chuck Sagna into a CH spot.

My concern is the midfield 2, rags will have 4/5 there and will over run us I fear.

Seems like he's just hoping to outscore them but getting the ball to our front 4 could be difficult. I'd have started Fernando with Diho in front of the CB's.

Always fucking happy.

The players play anything like and we win, end of.

The defence is a concern so we need to be on the front foot from the word go, we are due a performance from the players and if they cannot be up for this game then top four is looking dodgy

90% of the time the vast majority slate the guy because he is shit.

That side picks itself today at home against a poor rags side imo.
The way opinions change to suit preconceived anger is quite interesting. That said, as one who always thought Nando wasn't as bad as advertised, I think Pellar is missing a trick by not playing Dihno at RM.

And while folks here like to pretend it was a 3 in the middle. It simply was Dihno being a shutdown RM.

So while I disagree with Pellars and practically everyone, I agree the 11 picked is the conventional best. The actual best though, exludes Navas and Silva for Nacho and Fernando.

Go figure.

Looks like a Suicide Line Up. Demi and Navas aren't players I'd have picked but fingers crossed I guess.

Agree on the defence but it is what it is and they have to go out there and perform.

Form goes out of the window in a derby and If the players are up for it, we'll win, it's the biggest derby since the 2012 1-0 win at the Etihad and Yaya, Aguero and Silva etc must know the top 4 is under threat. No excuses today, just get the win. COME ON CITY!!!!!
