Loads of complaining as usual. Let's see what gives and complain later. We're up against a team that look like they couldn't score in a brothel most of the time, and produced some God awful football recently. Let's hope they're true to from today and Sergio bags a few. But yeah, our defence is gash without Komps and we all know it. It just pains me that MDM is anywhere near our line up. He's not even worthy of a bench place. Expecting some calamity in that regard today, and some comedy defending.

To be honest I can't remember being less excited about a Derby as I am today. The last one at the swamp was pure dross, and I'd be pleasantly surprised if todays if much di
fferent. A bore draw seems the most likely outcome. Hope I'm wrong though.

Not enough complaining in your post (LOL).

This is an important match, not only because of the fact that it is a derby but a win also enables us to look upwards and not downwards for the remaining of the season. Comparing the two line ups, we are clearly the more potent and capable team to get the three points. The center back pairing will be a concern and perhaps an adjustment e.g playing Fernandinho and Mangala at the back would have given me more confidence personally but Dimechelis will have to use his experience and not get isolated one on one with their attacking players.

Offensively it is a strong enough team. Aguero has been isolated and frustrated for the past few weeks and that may not change today. This could have been an opportunity to go for a 442 and pair him with a striker, Iheanacho has shown the better promise in terms of linking up with Aguero but Bony will also do a job in terms of providing a decoy and space for Aguero to operate.

Saying all that, the players at least should be fired up for this derby and this will be a good moment to make a statement and a great performance and result will set up the rest of the season.

He's had since Tuesday to work on the centre back pairing, mind you he's had almost 3 years to sort the defense out and he's made it so much worse. Solution, offer them fuck all protection from midfield. As for outscoring the ****,s we'd have to score to do that . Fingers crossed it will be all right but I'm not overly confident. throw back to the old days this!

Is practising for killing the tempo and pace of Zenit no doubt.

I think Demichellis has enough experience to handle an 18 year old, providing he's not a pace merchant. Sagna + Navas should shut down that right hand side and make his life a little easier
