Fuck me !! We`ve played three games and already he`s a loser. The state of some of these posts never fails to amaze me.
Yeah fck you then. Disagree by all means, but after the debut he's been invisible. Obviously a good player but we need consistency from all to play our system.
3 games is a lot in the current state of play in the prem - as we well know, it can be the difference between winning the league, finishing in Europe, or fading to also rans.

I've just read further up we are now a mid level team FFS!

First up we finished 3rd last season. That was due to getting better towards the end of the season. (trajectory etc)
The CWC bollocked any chance of a proper pre-season. So no matter what happened, we was never going to hit the ground running.
Pep did fuck up refreshing the team on time. And fuck this "small squad" bollocks. Injuries have always sorted out players getting game time.
So many players arriving at the same time with no real pre-season will mean the worse isn't over yet. So a loss today doesn't mean what the rest of the season will look like.
There is nothing wrong with aiming for top four for now. It may mean that is our level going forwards. I doubt that, but let's see etc.
Judging new players on a handful of (out of form) matches shows people lack of football knowledge or maturity. Nobody had a great season last year.
Donnarumma will make at least one mistake today. Someone on here will post the famous "he shouldn't ever wear the shirt again" line. It's embarrassing.

We are shit at the moment, so are they. I know which side/manager i want going forwards.

Reijnders had the same criticism at Milan, brilliant when you have possession and attacking but suspect defensively not a duel winner.

I genuinely hope that for some people on here that how they are on here is just an internet persona and they aint that miserable in real life because if they are i genuinely worry for their mental health, the swing from brilliant to suicidal is fucking frightening.

Results-wise, definitely, but performance-wise? Not so sure.

I seem to remember us really riding our luck on that run-in. I'd never seen so many glaring opportunities missed by opposing strikers as we repeatedly sneaked through by the odd goal. Then of course that excuse for a Cup Final, played out like an end-of-season mid-table dead rubber.

I agree with you that fighting for top 4 is probably it this season - let's face it, hardly embarrassing - but it's so disappointing that everything just feels like a continuation of last year, in terms of no real team identity and hoping that doing the same thing will bring different results. And recruitment? Buying RAN - effectively another midfielder - as a serious solution to the full-back issues? I bet the other coaches can't believe their luck at this 'same old, same old' approach.

From around January time, most on here were hoping for 'top 5 finish then reset in the summer'. Not much sign of that, in these admittedly early stages.

Today is all about the result, obviously, but whether it's 4-0 or 0-4, something seismic needs to happen before the season is much older.

Livramento is the target,Newcastle wouldn't consider a sale this window.

He'll come next summer.
I would prefer Dumfries from Inter. He was talked about as being a target. He is fast, tall and a good defender as well as his ability to get forward and support attacks. An ideal replacement for Walker.

Chelsea banned the sale of ‘Friendship’ scarves for all games years ago n’all.

And you never see any of these stupid scarves in the crowd at Anfield.
Rubbish.

The scarves are mainly knocked out by unofficial venders anyway, so a ban means nowt.

They are sold outside all the big grounds.
