I was wondering why Pep and the club don't seem to have the hunger and contempt of the rags that our other squads and Managers had, I would love an Aguero, Yaya, Kompany in our squad today to give that bite.

Then the reality hit me that the reason the current squad don't have that about them is because they have never seen them as a rival, there isn't a single player in our squad who have played against a Rag team who were title challengers.

In the eyes of the players and Pep it is the dippers who have now taken their place.

The rags have now just become another team that we face in the league, it is only really the fans who see them as anything else.

And by anything else I mean Cunts.

Yep. All this "Mancini got it" is really just an illustration of where the league was, and what the 11-12 season in particular, at the time. Look at how wound up Pep gets for the Liverpool games, and it's because those are, more or less, title deciders.

As gutting as it was not to beat them at our place to win the title, they celebrated like they'd won a world cup and then lost the next game anyway.

As a football club they don't scare us, they're not better than us, their jibes are meaningless. Even Foden won't have many memories of them at their height.
