United Home League Cup Tickets

BBC describe Man United as relentless. I don’t even think their biggest fan would describe their recent form or results “relentless”. The BBC really are idiotic.
When City beat a lower league side by a bucket load of goals, we are disrespectful.
When United do the same, they are relentless.
BBC are utter wankers.

Pep is fucking brilliant. Yes I don’t know whether Pep should bother trying to gee up the fans to increase attendances but somebody has to (besides Daz Clarke and the Face Value FB page).

Of course lots of Blues can’t afford to go to every home game and nobody is questioning them.
His beloved Barcelona had 59,000 in October, so 40,000 empty seats. They had 42,000 against Levante last January, which is 58,000 empties. These were both for league games and they have tourists by the bucket full. Never gets a mention as doesn’t the fact that they average 76,000 in a stadium that holds 99,354. Now, if he wants to get peed off with the early leavers, I’m all in favour.....

We could have done with a few more tourists today but it was still a decent turnout. I realise Barca have plenty of empties.

I hope we get a sell out on Wednesday but if we don’t the Club’s greed in selling Real Madrid tickets this months will have been a contributing factor.

ps I bought about a dozen tickets for the Derby and am letting people pay me back on the night. I realise not everyone could do that.

If Pep is unhappy with the attendance then he should have a word with his mates in the boardroom. It doesn’t matter how cheap a cup ticket is if you’ve already shelled out many hundreds of pounds for season ticket. And we all know how we’ll be rinsed should we get to the semi and the final.

40k for cup tie against lower league opposition broadcast live on BBC1 is a fantastic turnout seeing as we don’t have 20k fans from Ireland/the Home Counties/Scandinavia to take up the slack.

I don’t think Pep has issues with not filling up the stadium ... it’s what those that are there do or do not do is what he takes issue with ... the atmosphere most of the days is shite and even when we need crowd behind us when losing or drawing in last minutes we have seen droves leaving at their usual 80 min mark regardless ... I have issue with them two things, we all should ... fix that first, the empty seats won’t matter one bit if those filling the seats make some continuous noise or get behind fully ... we can’t seem to pick ourselves up except those few games every season ... and I can list them here, Tottenham in CL, Liverpool last season and that’s pretty much it ... when else did we really make it a noisy non stop supported place where opposition would feel it ... same once or twice the season before and I expect it to be the same this season ... so far zero atmosphere this season, expect it if when Liverpool come around and they’re winning the league that day and we stop them doing so would generate some ... maybe in Real Madrid home leg if we’re well into it and maybe another CL tie later ... that’s about it!

Tin hat on....utd have got it right wiv there new singing section.. they nicked this off celtshite. There are loads of singers in S3...but this doesn't connect with S1.
Bit of creativity..bit of seat movement..we can get this right!

There was definitely a decision to make. Out of all the games we've had since Christmas, Fulham was the one i considered giving a miss. I decided to go in the end because I wanted to see players like Tommy Doyle and Harwood-Bellis given another chance to get first team experience. I based this expectation on the last round and also Pep's comments about fixture overload.

Not even on the bench. Thanks Pep!. We did, however, get Leicester City style 'clappers' given out. There will be a drum soon, mark my words!

Just to top it off. A great attendance spoiled only by a lack of away fans was turned into an empty seats story by the BBC after a weekend of empty stadiums. Then they twist the knife by asking Pep about it. Instead of telling them to go f**k themselves he nods and says 'I don't know why'.

Back in SS3 on Wednesday, looking forward to it far more than the Madrid game. Let's make it a night to remember on and off the pitch.
