Just play the MUEN video and pause at 10/11 seconds. The lie of 150,000 is plain for all to see.
so jam packed with people it was easy to just walk along the side of the bus
To have had 150,000, Deansgate (which has a capacity of about 75,000 if it's 10 deep) would have to have been jammed packed end-to-end. They'd have needed about 25,000 at Old Trafford, another 25,000 at Trafford Town Hall, about 5,000 at Stretford Mall and another 20,000 at other places along the route.
There was a fair crowd at the Cathedral end but no more than 5-6,000 from what I could see. The rest of Deansgate was demonstrably sparsely populated to put it mildly. No idea how many at Old Trafford (one news report said 20,000 but probably less than that. No more than another 5-6,000 at the town hall and mall. The rest of the route was clearly deserted.
So 30,000 tops.
Let theones who swear they were there and say there was definitely 150,000 peddle their desperate lies.
Let the deluded idiots in Delhi, Singapore and Surrey believe what they want. If they want to go to bed happy in the knowledge that 150,000 turned out to see their beloved reds, far more than turned out to see us, then let them.
Let the ones who watched the MEN video, saw the lack of crowds on Deansgate when they should have been 10 deep all the way along, yet still believe there were 150,000 there live in their own little dream world.
Those of us who saw it for ourselves and those of us who went by road to Wembley know the truth about the true level of their support in Manchester.
