United (N) | FA Cup Final | Post-Match Thread

Despite the win I'm still MASSIVELY fucked off with VAR today. A penalty against Grealish (by the letter of the current law correctly given) that would 100% not be given at the other end, a deliberate assault on Akanji by Casimero not given and a Stonewall penalty not given on KDB.

Thankfully we were resolute and it didn't matter in the end, but fucking hell, they tried DESPARATELY to cheat us today.

Absofuckinglutely they did

We just beat United. In a cup final. Blues of a certain vintage will know how unreal that is.

Regardless of next week, they didn’t wreck it for us.

Rodri man, fuck me.
Yes, blues of a certain vintage, brings tears to my eyes, it really does. Yes I have been drinking, but it really, really does. All those bloody years of watching, well crap and here we are, unreal. Thank you sheikh Mansour, Pep and all the team.

I'll not forget that gundo goal anytime soon.. 12 seconds!
Consolation to the shit VAR call was that it happened during the 1st half, gave us chance to reset and let pep sort it out. Much better second half.

starting to calm down now. had to stop going to games awhile ago now as City were literally killing me. on 80mins I was doubled over in pain but it was worth it as I hate those fuckers. I know everyone is going on about champion league etc but to me beating them in the 1st Manchester final is up there as my favourite City moment and something they can never claim. so get in City and take that you red bastards.

Also please go easy on the players performance. we came up against a team who didn't want to play football and were looking to take the game to penalties. Earling might not have scored but he worked his arse off all game even at the end when he could have gone for Glory he did what was best for the team.
