Im not that disappointed the result was shite, but the overall 90 mins we were fantastic, 2 poor goals to concede we created chances and there ugly Viking or whatever they want to call him didn't have a kick, Varane was immense as was Lindelot.. that side was established over seasons, ETH has had 1 season to get to 2 Cup finals is a plus .. they boys did well you need a bit of luck in a final and we didn't have enough of it. .. it was a good game and we wernt 2nd best only in the result..

Don't be convinced by this letter of the law bullshit. There's been loads of handballs exactly like this not given due to proximity, speed of ball, natural position ect in the premier league over the last few months. They have 100% relaxed the rules since Xmas just bizarrely not in this game ( I wonder why?). If this was a champions league then I'd say it's a fair cop as they are strict on the rules but pigmol are a bunch of corrupt twats.

Exactly. You only have to look at Lindlehof’s handball at West Ham to see how differently we are reffed compared to them

Personally I thought it was a mess of a game. Neither side controlled anything.

We scored from two long shots which were fantastic but that wasn't our game.

It matters not, we go on. One match to go - which I think we will win.

Yeah, I prefer an open match too.

But Pep has had his lessons and today was all about control and game management. We have added that to our match. Not long ago Pep had replaced Grealish by Alvarez or Mahrez. But Aké came on today and we took the 2-1 win. Enough to raise the cup ;)

Next Saturday will not be much different.
We don't rush into open knives anymore and that's the main difference to former seasons when we played great football but looked like a slapped arse we didn't win.

In other words, we have a beauty of a defence!!
