United (N) | FA Cup Final | Post-Match Thread

Got home, we got the Hull line train this morning from Doncaster, 2 reds were at our table.
All good, bit of banter but a laugh spirits high.

Way back, gang of United with bucket hats on giving us abuse me and my lad who is 13. Tbf to one of them he was saying don’t he’s with his kid.
Got on same train as us last one from KX
They got in first carriage also, carrying on and giving it the large one.
Woman complained about them (we didn’t) train guard asked us if we are (I said we are fine)
We got up to leave the train at Doncaster and they pipe up again carrying on, told you’ve seen the champions now fuck off home!

We leave train, next thing old bill pile into the carriage end they are at :-D absolute quality and karma. Gave a bang on the windows, they looked mortified.

Bucket hat goons, who think they are the hacienda group but wrong generation.
Wombles.

Was funny listening to them on the way home; one was saying how we have bought all this success then next convo he was saying it has to be the Qatari's who take over :-D

They are all over the place that lot, think we have messed with their heads ;)

I feel your pain, got up at 10, left the flat at 11:30, was home before 8.

I suspect we both enjoyed (suffered) it equally.

Went with my best friend, it was his first Manchester derby (he had my lads ticket as he couldn't go).

He started being a blue at Millwall when we were kept in for about 2 hours after. He's done lots of games since, and as he reminded me tonight, even Grimsby away.

He was absolutely made up by today.

To be fair we had an easy draw in the final as utd are shit.

Yes minor detail in the run of things but our boys deserve their medals!! If there hadn’t been enough if that other lot had won there’d have been a fuss.

Gundo put the ball in the net before I managed to get in the ground due to the traffic.

Deserved to win and were never really under any pressure.

Enjoyable day and to beat United in the process makes it even better. 2 down - 1 to go.

Or the 3rd or 4th yellow. With only one view of things when there, it is sometimes an eye opener watching back. How VAR can conclude the Grealish handball is a pen, but not the foul on Kev is a mystery
On another note, I hate the rat with a passion, but he was quite gracious in defeat in his interview on BBC, and was bigging up Gundo.

Much as I hate him respect for going down to congratulate the City team after he got his runners up medal.
