United (N) | FA Cup Final | Post-Match Thread

Re. the pen on Kev. I think, having watched it several times, the United player just gets enough on the ball. That's what swings the decision. No need to see a conspiracy.
As for the “handball”, though, all arguments about the body being “unnaturally bigger” or the arm “outstretched” are just not on. I'd like to know how you naturally jump with your arms by your sides, or behind your back. That would be unnatural. As Jack said, he wasn't even looking at the ball. According to the law as it stands, it was a penalty.
The law, as an obscure dramatist said in the seventeenth century, is an ass. It must be adjusted. It will be adjusted.
We've been the victim of this several times, and I'm now getting tired of it. Didn't it happen to Riyad earlier on this season, where the ball simply brushed his arm and a goal was ruled out? And I don't even want to get into the disallowed goal at the death against Spurs a few years back. Still seething.
Mind you, rather be us than Spurs.

Our MD at work is a United fan and someone decorated his office with some of the flags from the match along with blue balloons. He took it quite well, to be fair. There are decent United supporters out there.

Still not over that Young "Tackle" on Aguero.

Happened right in front of me in the north stand that day. How Atkinson and more importantly the linesman who was about 20 yards away missed it is baffling.

I've never seen that block I'm in the north stand go as ballistic as that over one decision.

EVERYONE seen it apart from the officials
Neither of them missed it

Watched the whole match yet again and paid close attention to the penalty the other team got. Did Super Jack have any intention of cheating? Of course not! Was he trying to gain an unfair advantage? Certainly not. Was any handball intentional? No chance. Did the linesman signal for an offence? He did not. Did the ref give the penalty? No. So did he make a clear and obvious mistake? Hardly.

So there you are chaps. We are all wrong and they got a penalty which they had earned. Maintaining a fine bit of FA cup 'istry and tradishun.

The watching world saw these cheating twats in action. It can’t be allowed to carry on. A fucking scandal - but this is the business end of the season and City brushed it off to win, unlike the Rashford miracle “not offside/not interfering“ at Trafford that messed up our heads and cost us the game. Cheating bastards.
Ha yes they tried the same template again but failed miserably the colluding fuckwits.
