True. Some people often leave him on the bench when they select their lineups. You can't afford not to pick a player like that. He won't win every game but he will win most of them.

Thought Foden was great, particularly first half. We’ve missed that! Doku also did well but Erling is complete a cheat code.Awesome.

The big man up front for me although in fairness he was the big man in defence too today. Took his goals really well, held the ball really well, passed really well and of course did his fair share of defensive duties.
Honourary mentions for Foden (great to see him back and looking so good) Doku who was very good today, fantastic assist and worried them all game and Khusanov who was quick and decisive.
O'Reilly didn't look out of place and Donna can't half punch the ball away on corners and free kicks.

When he plays with that desire a huge yes. Best link up play from him for ages..great attitude at the back.. and as for finishing..especially 1 v 1 best in prem

Going for Doku this time… was the spark that got the fire going, I’ve been one of his critics but today he was excellent (really hope he starts to find some consistency). Foden absolutely superb from minute 1 (I noticed in the warm up he looked really focussed), Haaland (even without the 2 goals a menace), Kush committed but needs to reign it in a tad and special mention to O’Reily who I thought handled himself really well and was clearly being targeted
