United Post Match Thread

Our record against the top 6 this season is so shocking - what must Pep be thinking. Have to say though thought Mangala did well today....he gives you this flash of hope that he could actually make it.....it can't all be his fault - who would want to play in a defence like this - tactically naive, always changing, no real direction - yes he should have done better but a different coach may help him to shine....

I know.

What got to me today was the whole MdM farce, nothing being done and then him coming out for the 2ND half to confound any logic. Add in Bony to the mix and I can only describe the managers performance as professionally negligent.

I still hold he players equally responsible and come judgement day, I hope justice is short but sweet for a lot of them.
I thought we outplayed them second half, in fact pretty well after Fernando came on, but that was the criminal decision of the day for me, and it cost us the game. That goal would not have happened with him in front of the back four, and all we needed to do today was not lose, and against that shower of shit we played right into their hands from the kick off, so negligent is correct.

Yet we still did more than enough to win, missing chance after chance, so yes all to blame, but FFS pick the right team to start with.

We both said early in the week, only a win would be good enough.

He couldn't deliver it.

Nothing more to be said.

I don't disagree with what you say. We played ok up to a point again and that point being putting it in the back of the net. He isn't missing the chances but he takes the responsibility.

Again though, watching MdM today and his complete negligent lack of action is too much for me and its broken any defence I can give the man.

......no defence of him left as far as I'm concerned. Thank God that there's only a few games left to suffer.

I know it is easy in hindsight - but the young team that played at Chelsea in the FA Cup would have put in a much better performance than todays sh*t.

No matter how much you drink he isn't going tonight, tomorrow, or any time in the next 3 months, in June he goes, and it won't be too soon.

Unfortunately he definitely won't be sacked before the PSG games

How many league games are left after they destroy us? The club may panic and make a desperate change then when it dawns on them we ain't qualifying for the CL as holders

Pep has signed this contract hasn't he? I mean actually signed? He can't pull out before he's arrived can he?

That was pretty much my thought process as I left the ground.

That would be the ultimate typical city moment and biggest humiliation ever. Surely not?
