United Post Match Thread

Pellegrinis last stand

Where's Billy and Dave ?

At least Blueinsa has seen the light- is he on here tonight or is he in a crisis meeting with the "Pellers" last stand movement ?

I posted just after the game to say time is up, go tonight.

Since then mate I've hit the beer hard had a great night with the wife and friends, determines not to let today spoil my weekend.

I'm still boozing, he still needs to go, tonight.

I like him, I thank him for the success but his time is up.

Pride was restored everywhere on the pitch with Mancini, never more so in the Derby of all fixtures. We knew what it was to compete and play for the fans. I know Mancini is gone but why are our players no longer getting what it means to be blue ?

This feels like we are right back to when Hughes was sacked and Mancini appointed. We are now generally losing derby matches (2 defeats and 1 draw in the last 3) and getting thrashed home and away by Liverpool. Back to square one. Probably further back since both United and Liverpool are shit these days. The players aren't responding to Pellegrini but then why would they? He's clueless. Most know there time is up and are either totally passed it like Martin D or simply old and not arsed anymore. This club is slowly being destroyed as we wait for Pep. I wished we'd sacked Pellegrini last Summer and appointed somebody else. Pep isn't fucking Superman. It's pathetic how we've gambled everything on him.

I get you, I do. I'm really sick of the sympathisers that go on and on like we don't get behind the players. These guys are so detached from reality earning over 150k a week and they thing they can play like that and we should meekly accept them giving 10%.

No way am I taking that shit anymore I'm not a lemming who blindly follows someone off a cliff ! They earn it of Fook off

Boom shanka !

May the seeds of your loins be fruitfell in the belly of your women.

Love affair is getting close to over-Pep or no fucking Pep.

Nowt without love for the fans , the sheep haven't realised it yet .

Assuming PL games only: So far - Wham, Dippers, Leicester, Spuds & rags makes five. 2011-12 - 0, 2012-13 - rags & Norwich - 2, 2013-14 - Chels - 1, 2014-15 - Stoke & Arsenal - 2. So that's 5 in 4 seasons and five so far this season with Baggies, Stoke and Arse yet to play.
Cheers for looking it up so it is correct,to be honest don't know what to think apart from we've been poor this season..

No matter how much you drink he isn't going tonight, tomorrow, or any time in the next 3 months, in June he goes, and it won't be too soon.

They're all too flamin comfortable. Wrapped in cotton wool & busy buying 285,000 pounds cars.

I know.

What got to me today was the whole MdM farce, nothing being done and then him coming out for the 2ND half to confound any logic. Add in Bony to the mix and I can only describe the managers performance as professionally negligent.

I still hold he players equally responsible and come judgement day, I hope justice is short but sweet for a lot of them.

Our record against the top 6 this season is so shocking - what must Pep be thinking. Have to say though thought Mangala did well today....he gives you this flash of hope that he could actually make it.....it can't all be his fault - who would want to play in a defence like this - tactically naive, always changing, no real direction - yes he should have done better but a different coach may help him to shine....

I thought we outplayed them second half, in fact pretty well after Fernando came on, but that was the criminal decision of the day for me, and it cost us the game. That goal would not have happened with him in front of the back four, and all we needed to do today was not lose, and against that shower of shit we played right into their hands from the kick off, so negligent is correct.

Yet we still did more than enough to win, missing chance after chance, so yes all to blame, but FFS pick the right team to start with.

We both said early in the week, only a win would be good enough.

He couldn't deliver it.

Nothing more to be said.

I don't disagree with what you say. We played ok up to a point again and that point being putting it in the back of the net. He isn't missing the chances but he takes the responsibility.

Again though, watching MdM today and his complete negligent lack of action is too much for me and its broken any defence I can give the man.

......no defence of him left as far as I'm concerned. Thank God that there's only a few games left to suffer.

I know it is easy in hindsight - but the young team that played at Chelsea in the FA Cup would have put in a much better performance than todays sh*t.

Unfortunately he definitely won't be sacked before the PSG games

How many league games are left after they destroy us? The club may panic and make a desperate change then when it dawns on them we ain't qualifying for the CL as holders

Pep has signed this contract hasn't he? I mean actually signed? He can't pull out before he's arrived can he?

That was pretty much my thought process as I left the ground.

That would be the ultimate typical city moment and biggest humiliation ever. Surely not?
