Will be their 3rd loss of the season to United (League Cup too) after getting 4pts off them last season, quite a fall for the Barcodes this year. They still don't have Steven Taylor back either.

Easy win for United tomorrow

Tiote,Cabaye & Ben Arfa are not available.

With those 3 missing Toon have a midfield that the rags can boss. That'll be something new for them this season....

Toon will need to play a long ball game as Cisse/Ba and Ameobi will cause the rag back 4 some trouble if they get the ball.

Utd need another top player as I don't think they have ever been as dependent on a couple of players (RVP and Rooney) as they are now.

I think Ronaldo may well leave Real Madrid - but probably not until the Summer.

Keep Utd to 6 point gap and then when the fixtures come to a crunch in the Spring they will struggle to field Rooney and RVP game after game

Their defence is dire and their midfield is well behind the other top teams in this league and in Europe. But their attacking options are exceptional. You only need to look at the GD stats in the league so far to see this illustrated. If they want to spend money on more attacking players which neglects their real problems, that's fine by me.

United 44 25
City 34 15
Chelsea 36 17
Arsenal 32 18

I agree Utd's attacking strength is awesome, but they are unbalanced.

Even the weakest of teams can get at them, but if you attack them they you lay yourself open to counter-attacks as we did in the Derby. At some point this season Utd will have a bad spell - and it will probably arrive when RVP or Rooney are absent

Rooney is out for 2-3 weeks with an injury but I'm not sure it matters, Hernandez is very effective in their system. If RVP gets a yellow card though it would get interesting as they would have to play Hernandez and Welbeck up front. But their defenders are scoring lots of goals from their barrages of crosses. I think Evra and Evans have about 4 each.

At it again, surely an FA ban?
