They want everyone :)

I love this comment.

It's always been Schweinsteiger's dream to finish 7th, playing alongside a 40 year old adulterer and Tom Cleverley.

Yeah just read the mail, looks like they are indeed about to buy everyone hehe.

Seems selling them Mata left them in a strong position to get Costa who utd wanted also.
Seems Mourinho could be developing some nouse in the market.

Costa at Chelsea is a concern for me.
He's every bit a Mourinho type player, and it seems to me at least that he's one of the final pieces of the puzzle for having the team mou wants.

Didn't he buy SWP to stop anybody else getting their hands on him?

And he bought Willian in the summer just as il looked like he was about to join Spurs.
Do you see a pattern here?

So Schweinstieger, Kroos, Reus, Luke Shaw........with Mata, Shrek and the Rapist they'll win everything.

One question that seems to be getting missed by every journos :

'What the fuck has happened to your famous yoof policy, and 'we're Manyoooo we don't buy established talent, we take youngsters in and develop them in the Yoonit'd way'

A deafening silince all round. If I was a conspiracy theorist I'd say Ferguson has had a wee dinner party with the chief sports writers and told them to leave Davey alone, then dropped a napkin on the table with every decent player on it saying that's who the Filth are in for.

I have no clue, who they are after, but the unfortunate thing is that a lot of players listed are probably going to be leaving in the summer.

I can see Reus trying to leave in the summer and the only possible destinations are really United or PSG.
Luke Shaw will probably leave, but he is a Chelsea fan and probably will go there
Vidal and Pogba are 'not for sale', but Juventus could not turn down 45 million bids for either.
We will see with how things go with Bayern. As things stand Thiago is Guardiola's favourite, which means one of Kroos, Schweinsteiger or Martinez is going to be very unhappy. If he continues to play Lahm in midfield then two out of Kroos, Schweinsteiger and Martinez will be very unhappy. Kroos only has 18 months in his contract.

Players are definitely available in the summer and should they make top 4 they will still want to go to United. The question is how much money do United have and will they make top 4.

Even if they sign any world class players, they are going to have to pay extortionate wages because Rooney will be on £300K+ a week.

Remember the fiasco over their "pursuit" of Schneider? It wasn't the transfer fee that was the problem as alluded to by baconface (the bullshit over "there's no value in the market..."). The issue was potential wages - I seem to recall that the scum were trying to broker some sort of deal with Nike so they would increase their sponsorship fees to him so that it would cover his wages.

He went to Galatasary on a free transfer - why didn't the rags go in for him them if the only problem had been the transfer fee?

It's no coincidence that RVP is on the same (currently) wage as shrek - £250k per week. After losing the title to us in 2012, the rags had no option but to buy a world-class player to appease their fans and consequently, they had to match shreks pay deal to get RVP.

Hopefully, the same will apply with any other top signings they make and it will eventually cripple them!

He is doing exactly what he has said "Hi Mr International Manager, look at me I am playing every game I could go to the world cup" unfortunately the manager is saying "who....Why we already have Silva and 3 other midfielders who are better"

So now all of a sudden they are going to win the league...What the serious fuck is the british media going on about.
So Arsenal City,Chelsea,Liverpool,Everton and Spurs are all going to implode are they.
Fuck if there is a god they will not get top 4!!
I see Mata has been briefed to keep the spin going.

Sky can kiss my fucking ass to. They are so up the rags arse it is cringeworthy!

Deeply moving tribute fromMata for Rooney - he is obviously brown nosing the boss at his new club !
I hope we don't have to ever hear again about " mercenaries , buying the title , the united way and any more of that deluded crap that sad little rags trot out !
They are scared and they are desperate.

Players only ask for obscene wages when they don't really want to move somewhere. Sneijder was pretty much on a 4 year sabbatical till this world cup. I think he was more interested in getting paid.

If United were to offer Kroos or Reus 150k a week, then I doubt they would care what Rooney is on. Chelsea's current bunch don't get anywhere near what Lampard and Terry used to make.

C'mon Davey, make your fuckin mind up!!

"The number of big players wanting to join Manchester United is incredible."

and ...

"I never felt that we would get that opportunity (to buy Mata), I wasn't sure that Chelsea would ever sell him to us."

I thought there was a queue around the block to sign for you, you world star super coach you!!

the rags should ask the question, if mata had got game time at chelsea would he have gone to that shower of shit

And they say romance is dead;

He's a real smoothie, that one.

the breaking story across multiple sources about rooneys contract details is a little too convenient for a club that normally has great information control

has he said yes? or is this just a really clever strategy by the club, putting rooney in an impossible position if he still wants to leave? i mean who would turn down the captaincy of utd and £300k a week?!

maybe they realise he's leaving and are trying to demonstrate they've done everything possible - they could have said £400k pw, captaincy for life - it doesn't matter if they know he ain't gonna sign
