Looks like the Rooney to Chelsea rumours have some legs - seems he was at Chelsea today, in disguise.

Rags PR machine in action again. All of a sudden Woodward is transfer genius, who'd have thought it?

@SwissRamble: United's PR machine is spinning like a top in the papers this morning. "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the public's intelligence."
In one paper it said Kia Joorabchian was the 3rd party as Chelsea wouldn't speak to the rags if they'd known they were interested. In another it said it was Ferguson & Gill who did the negotiations. And now the Guardian tells us it was Woodward but he only did it in writing to avoid any mention of Rooney. So which one is right?

I reckon Ferguson and Gill.

So how are the scum getting on with their quest to sign 5 more unwanted bench players from champions league teams anyway? (or phase 1 recruitment as it was known here) have we told them we want 15m for Richard wright yet?

The signing he was talking about were for the summer anyway, but the press seem to have glossed over that. You know you are in the shit when you are already talking about potential summer recruits before the January transfer window has finished.

and you're even further in the shit when a couple of them (pogba, marchisio and cavani) don't even wait until an offer comes in that summer window to tell you to get fucked.

Ye I laughed when he told me even more so when he said they'd rejected it haha. Mate said they'd rejected it because he's the next Ronaldo I said the only thing he's got in common with Ronaldo was his diving skills.
