Anyone seen this article on the bbcsport site, titeld 'Man Utd remind Fulham's Dan Burn of Conference football' hahaha

Has Vidic been cited for his elbow on Holtby yet?

I just watched it again (and again, and again) and froze it frame by frame. It's true that Vidic never looked for a second at Holtby, that he never took his eye off the ball. It's also true that he leads with his forearm, and clears Holtby out making contact just above Holtby's right ear well before he gets to the ball - in fact without prior contact, he doesn't get to the ball. His forearm is NOT in a natural position, it's extended too far out and makes perfect contact with Holtby, too perfect for it to be incidental to the action. The fact he doesn't look at Holtby directly is irrelevant, unless one argues Vidic has no experience in these matters and is unique amongst the sons of Adam in having no peripheral vision (and given the line of sight is hardly a peripheral matter anyway).

Ask Jose, perhaps he has an opinion on it. He has a lot to say about Yaya!

Ah. Yes, what is a conscious elbow to the head without regard to the consequences compared to what Yaya did? Anything from talkshite? Sly Sports?

Or indeed Bellers back arm slash across the head of a Swansea Player as he ran past him on Saturday night......Jose seems quiet on that one as well
