LAST SUMMER THE RAGS HAD A KEVIN STROOTMAN DEAL ON THE TABLE FOR 15M.

AGENT MOYES DITHERED, EVENTHOUGH THE GPC HAD HIM AS A TARGET FOR A WHILE. MOYSIE SAID HE WANTED TO HAVE A LOOK AT THE PLAYERS HE HAD. (DOES HE NOT HAVE SKY?)

STROOTMAN WENT TO ROMA A FEW WEEKS LATER AFTER PSV GOT PISSED OFF BEING DICKED AROUND.

MOYSIE DITHERED AND DITHERED ALL SUMMER LONG, AND ON THE LAST MINUTE OF THE LAST DAY OF THE TRANSFER MARKET (UNDER EXTREME PRESSURE FROM ANGRY RAGS) HE SIGNED MOP HEAD FOR 27M!!! WHICH WAS LIKE TAKING A SHIT ON A WEDDING CAKE.

KEVIN STROOTMAN IS CURRENTLY OUT WITH A CAREER THREATENING CRUCIATE LIGAMENT INJURY.

MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE JUST OFFERED 30 MILLION POUNDS FOR HIM.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

that deluded reg lover, Darren Gough, said utd need to spend £50m on 2 'world class' centre halves.

given that Jones & Smalling, who are at best mediocre, cost £30m, I would suggest that in order to find 2 quality centre backs who want to play for a mid table club would cost nearer £70m.

along with their history and that if they add 300m worth of talent to a team that was champions only a few short months ago I think they will piss the league by about 30 points. I'm going to have to change teams. it'll save me money as i'll never get a ticket cos even the museum is a sell out. tv only for me I'm afraid. i just hope the powers that be don't move corrie just for that stupid champion league thingy.

Having been told that city have bought the league the same plastic fans are now telling me they are shelling out for Hummels and Kroos......

Just point and laugh at them very loudly, it works for me every time, they don't know how to handle it

Has anyone see Kroos play alongside mediocre before?

Only, playing alongside Tom and Marouana in a far more competitive League, may be slightly different to playing in a Chumps League winning team, where you can just stroll around the middle of the park, skimming gorgeous passes everywhere.

I think he is in for an ickle surprise

So Woodward being lined up for the blame if they cannot get their targets yet again.

But Scholes feels Moyes has been made too much of a scapegoat for the poor 2013-14 season and more questions need to be asked of Woodward.
Scholes, in his new column for the Paddy Power Blog, wrote: "David Moyes took a lot of stick, but I believe he's a top manager. I'd question if 10 months was enough time.
"Edward Woodward has an awful lot to prove this time that he's good enough at his job. He has to bring the players in that the new manager wants.
"It's obvious that last year he didn't manage to do that. If he doesn't we are not going to get anywhere near the top."

I posted this originally on the Kroos thread in the transfer forum in response to one of the rags, but it's a good example of the task facing the scum next season to get back to the top in comparison to the task facing us in Mancini's first full season here (2010/11)

Even if they get Kroos, the scum arguably need:
2 more centre mids
A left winger
A left back
2/3 centre halves
and a right back, either to cover Rafael who's permanently injured or to replace him
So that's 8/9 players overall. The summer mr prodigy is one about, we signed
Yaya Toure £25m
David Silva £22m
James Milner £18m+Ireland
Aleks Kolarov £16m
Jerome Boateng £10m
Mario Balotelli £24m
and then added Edin Dzeko for £27m in the January transfer window to add to a young hungry squad that had finished 5th on an upwards curve under Mancini, the following season we finished 3rd on 71 points, level with Chelsea who also had 71 points in 2nd.
That's £142m spent in a less inflated market with 2 flops who are no longer here and a player who's only recently come good (Kolarov) and we struck gold with Silva and Yaya, we were incredibly lucky getting them for the money that we got them for. All we had to do was catch Spurs or Arsenal to finish in the top 4.
This is going to be a long way from easy for you lot.
